EJ actually brought it up. Forgot what the response was

so the bad stuff with Porter started over the summer when he was pulled over with a gun and marijuana when he crashed his car- that he was driving without a license...he had been drinking but they came to the conclusion he wasnt drunk. They got it thrown out

he had a very concerning tweet in the fall that came off as suicidal.

on the radio today they said the Cavs tried to get him to be mentored by players over hte last few months and do workouts and show up to stuff and he rarely did

they let him come back and sit on the bench to try and show him what he was missing hoping that it would motivate him.

and then this incident happened- when - even though he wasnt playing or practicing yet- they gave his locker to a vet that would be playing- and he threw food in the locker room and compared it to "modern day slavery"---- on one of the very few teams in the NBA that has both a black coach and a black GM.

this is the radio segment with the Cavs beat reporter- Chris Fedor- that was a huge proponent of Porter the whole time.

even a week ago when the Allen trade happened people talked about Porter and he said the Cavs had zero interest in trading Porter and loved his talent.
