In a sense I agree, but the elite players don't seem to care as much about playoff seeding so as ling as you get to the playoffs not sure how much it matters. No bubble in playoffs and Covid issues then? Then I agree.

You would think they get it all straightened out before the playoffs...at least most of it.

Looking at what is happening across the league... a team like the Celtics is fortunate that they got 3 of their games so far postponed. If the C's had 1 or 2 more guys active in any of those games, they would have been forced to play (and likely lose, because of a hamstrung roster).

So when I see a team like the Heat losing a few games... it's certainly not time to panic or even draw conclusions. They've just been unlucky in what is still a young season.

We're not gonna have normalcy this season, but over the long haul it's probable that luck will even out more and the cream will rise when it comes to who gets in the playoffs and who doesn't.

After that, which teams are healthy and/or unaffected by CV19 is gonna be huge during the actual playoffs.

Cannot say I've followed NBA/Covid rules as closely as I have the NFL. while many thought the NFL was playing favorites they were not (and I say that knowing my team was hurt a lot). was all about the numbers teams had out, not which players were out. 18-20+ your game gets postponed. half a dozen or so and you play. And cannot really manipulate as either positive for Covid or not or a contacts trace or not. And, no, a pic near a guy doesn't count. Only what shows up on their device.

I get in NBA it seems like if you have 8 healthy guys to play you play. do they wear devices like NFL guys did to make harder to manipulate? Does seem like NBA teams can randomly decide a guy is unavailable. Think Cavs have done the opposite and said guys they knew would not play were available (obviously they have less to play for when it comes to Ws and Ls.

I had a nightmare last night that Money Mahomes carved the Browns D up for 720 passing yards. Got no faith in my teams D. If they can't run the ball and control the clock it could get ugly. But I thought it was funny Sammy Watkins talked some trash and he's not even playing.

Tell ya what, if we took a 28-0 lead against Mahomes with all the guys out against steelers he might just go for 700+ against that group.

Tell ya what, if we took a 28-0 lead against Mahomes with all the guys out against steelers he might just go for 700+ against that group.

Gotta be honest. Don't have alotta faith in the Browns pulling off the upset. The Chiefs are loaded. Hopefully the running game will be effective today. Less time Money Mahomes is on the field the better.

i hope they will draft higher than the Heat. i hope the Cavs win less than 30 games and get a high pick in the best draft in a decade. They have a bunch of 22 year old kids on their roster and are building something from the ground up after spending all their assets for years on 4 straight finals trips.

i think last year was a fluke for Miami during the "Bubble" aka the Freak Show. The bubble, the East had a ton of injuries- from the Nets to the Pacers, etc...


the Sixers, Nets, and Bucks are the class of the East. Miami isnt close to those teams.

but we shall see who is right as the season goes on.

Don't disagree but felt the same going into Steeler game. Sure, KC better but we have most of the much needed talent back I think - ward, Goodson, Johnson, Conklin and Bitonio.

No doubt run game needs to be effective, but think they will do whatever think will be most effective (run or pass) and not worry about keeping Mahomes off field.
