Dallas won game 4 without him and almost won game 1 on Luka’s back.

And every player on every winning team ever has help.

LeBron's 1st Cavs team that made it to the Finals was 1 of the worst ever to make the Finals......c'mon, now Lance.

Never heard of Cortez. Had to look it up. About 7 hours SW of me. Part of my problem with Boulder is I never wanted to leave the Vegas area in the first place. So from the moment I got here was looking for reasons not to like it. Would have never left the desert but my wife wanted to be closer to her folks.

I hear ya, I hear ya....we were scheduled to go to Vegas till she wanted to be closer to her sisters and oldest daughter/grandkids.

Like I said before when you are playing a league in minutes your numbers should look good. How about lets look at his %’s

FG 38% 21% from 3. Those are down from his rookie year. His FT% did go up from 64% to 72%.

To me he is like a less talented Simmons that is willing to shoot...he just sucks at shooting. Those %’s make Lonzo look like an all-star

And like Lonzo he can get better especially since he's not a PG and it's his job to shoot.....think it's too early to give up on him.

They looked good with KD and Harden but dynasty? LOL.

Irving is the wild card on fucking things up.

They can always trade him if it doesn't work out, so the 2 options are as followed...

1) He gets traded for other decent players

2) He works out and all the other teams are fucked

Take your pick from 1 or 2, not good for the rest of the league for the next 4-5 years

Sure anyone can try to get better, but it doesn’t they will. Lonzo has improved and he is still nothin special. I said it about RJ coming out of college...he can drive and score inside like Simmons but there is no Wow factor with him imo. I hope he does improve a lot

Regarding the trade.....I was thinking this.....but now? They are going to have to get pennies on the dollar and probably have to include a pick (which they don't have) to unload that contract and take back almost what he makes.....not looking good.

It took Kidd years to become a sniper but he did eventually.....and Lonzo and RJ both have time.

I have heard he won't mind sitting out the season in a few articles I read a few days ago.

All I said is that they were close offensively.

Defense is a huge part of the game. It isn’t close there and it isn’t close overall.

This isn’t like the LeBron big 3s where there was an obvious 3rd wheel.

Kyrie and Harden are going to have the ball a lot. Neither is going to be a distant 3rd option like Bosh or Love. And neither is going to sacrifice a ton of shots to set teammates up.

They are dominant on ball scorers. It is what they do best. The challenge is going to be making sure all 3 can get enough touches to be happy. Not too hard with 2.

Cavs have half their roster out for the past two weeks lol. Other teams are dealing with covid and injuries. That’s what this season is going to be like, it was like this in the NFL, MLB and college football too

Agree....losing to a decent team might be excusable, but Detroit? Not offense, @Stakesarehigh as I realize Hayes was out.

looks like both Cavs games vs. the Wiz are postponed. Kinda sucks

at least itll give Sexton and Garland a little bit more time to get healthy- and maybe they can have a practice or 2 to get the new guys acclimated.

I can probably figure out something else to do today, I guess. Reupholster couches?

They made it to the Finals and had 71 days off in between seasons....

The Cavs? Oh, that's right....they missed the playoffs and had plenty of offseason to go fishing and be rested for this season.

Guess we can hope we take less than the 7 years the Lakers took to get back to the playoffs in the rebuild?

all seriousness, possible only way they could be title contenders is one more tank resulting in a top 3 (maybe 5?) pick IMO.

This regular season will be more of a fluke than the bubble when you're playing a best of 7 series on a neutral site. The better team should always win in that scenario. Meanwhile this season you'll have situation where more than half a team can miss a couple of games due to covid protocols and if a player test positive for positive then they're automatically out two weeks which is about 6+ games in the NBA.

In a sense I agree, but the elite players don't seem to care as much about playoff seeding so as ling as you get to the playoffs not sure how much it matters. No bubble in playoffs and Covid issues then? Then I agree.

That was late in his career, we see veterans become great 3 point shooters late in their career. Kidd didn’t have a shot most of his career but he also did a ton of things that were special.

Guess I'll check it out. Keep hearing many say Browns need to run to win and not so sure about that...I could see it being like TN game where they dared us to throw and we did. Isn't to say we'll win that way as still have to stop Mahomes.
