True but this is why i was never against him getting what the clippers offered him. If contracts were just about playoffs performances then harden isn't a max player either. He is a top 15 player
Of course but if he lays another egg it comes to the point...why are you getting paid like a star and not performing like it when it matters most. Right now he is playing like a top 10 player

if I was a contender that needed a center I would be on the phone with the Cavs ASAP.

Boston would be an amazing fit if they could work the salary. Nets cant work the salary obviously. Toronto would be a very good fit to replace the big men they have lost. The Heat would be a nice fit and hes a FA at the end of the season so he wouldnt hurt cap room. Portland could use him with Nurkic always hurt. Golden State's rebounding is rough.

The Kings would be a ton better with Drummond. He'd be a huge upgrade over WCS in Dallas.
Tough to know what to do with him if the Cavs. sure, if wowed by an offer you deal him. But he is a talent and not like we can attract someone like in in FA. Can he play with Allen? Guess will find out next week as no one else healthy.

Think in the end, one gets dealt the other stays, and probably easier to keep the RFA.

What's up with kid from USC?
Just heard was finally allowed back with team and was on bench last night (not dressed). Been mum on exact issues and plan with him, only that they have a plan.

My guess is if they dont get at least a decent offer for him they look to see what is out there in FA, if nothing, you sign him. I mean if the younger guys develop then they could be a pretty damn good team. Allen can still get nice minutes as a role player, it isn’t ideal though tbh

Let's just start with rebounding percentage

Zo 10 off 24 def

Dre. 16 off 33 def

And dre is forced to play further from the rim
He's definitely a major talent and skilled big man. Can be a bit of a ball stopper, which with all the guys out not such a bad thing I guess.

How many teams do you need that player against?

Philly might be the only contender where you need a true center and Gasol is great to bang with Embiid for 20-25 minutes.

AD and Kief at 4-5 is really dynamic and I don’t think there are many good teams that can punish that duo inside.

Jokic and Porzingis off the top of my head. And its not that they need a guy that can bang around. I meant they need a guy that's a bit more springy and move around better than Gasol can, who is more slow and plodding right now. The reference to Howard was more about the limited amount of minutes he would play, not his style of play. Plus, regardless of style, they'd be better suited having someone there too because they don't have anyone if Gasol gets hurt, which he could because he's old.

That is kind of funny.

That would be like your work giving you a fine of $10.

That is .14% of his average annual salary for missing a week and a half of work with no real excuse AND possible breaking COVID protocol.

are those fines appealable? Or is that why they’re so low?

Davis can guard Porzingas for sure.

And he guard Jokic for 10 minutes a game also.

Denver is a moderate threat, but Dallas isn’t there yet.

Houston had to throw in a second round pick because LeVert's physical was delaying the completion of the trade. It definitely seems more logical now for them to have kept him, this gives more ammo for the narrative Fertitta is cheap and a detriment.

Harden has been a top 15 playoff player?
