Man, it'd be hilarious if Houston traded for a package involving Irving and just let him retire.....

And before yesterday, traction had gained steam with the Rockets and Nets.

Marc Stein has reported that the Rockets are asking for Simmons.

He's reporting that the Rockets are looking for a package of Simmons and Maxey for Harden. That doesn't mean that the Sixers are offering anything right now.

Edited the comment, I read it wrong. But, the Nets and Rockets have gained some traction in their talks lately so maybe you and the Sixers are safe.

You do that trade though, especially if there are no draft picks....

It's not like Harden is Melo, Harden does pass the ball enough to be getting over 10apg this season. Averaging more than Simmons.....and he averaged 7.5apg last season with RW.

With a big man like Embiid he'd be even better, Might lead the League in assists.

Harden passes, but he dominates the ball to an extreme extent before he does. Good luck generating ball movement in a Harden offense.

Embiid needs the ball also. He is not going to be happy being Harden’s pick and roll guy.

Rivers would have to get pretty creative to get both players to buy into an offense featuring each of them.

Beal would fit seamlessly.

@ChiefsLakers67 @trojanfan12 @DJ

Just saw the highlight of LeBron shooting a 3 in the corner then turn around to talk to his teammates. Now that's cold blooded. Amazing he can do that since his legacy is ruined and his skills have diminished.

The full story is even better.

Before he shot it, Dennis Schroder yelled "I'll bet you $100 you miss".

Lebron said "It's not a bet until you look a man in the eye. So I had to turn around and look him in the eye so I could win the bet."

Apparently, chemistry isn't going to be an issue for the Lakers...unless Schroder doesn't pay Lebron his $100. lol

If Shroder doesn't pay up the team should threaten to trade him to the Brickabockers as punishment.

Yeah, when the top 2 guys on the roster get along, everyone else typically falls in line.

Chemistry between the stars is everything and LeBron and AD clearly have it in spades.

Have you seen pictures?

He is incredibly out of shape.
One of a number of reasons why I don't want to trade for him. I understand that you don't want to stay loyal to any kind of talent, especially when you have an all-star that you could pick up. But I'd rather ride with a collective of Prince, Bam, Herro, etc.. than venture into the unknown of soon-to-be-gone prime Harden.

Depending on the salary cap implications...that might be the best outcome for the Rockets. It could open up a lot of cap space for them.
