I really really don't want Harden.

I would much sooner trade Simmons for Bradley Beal.

I don't think Harden is a great fit for the team.

Harden would be a better fit with Ben Simmons.

That's my thought. For the Sixers to be at their best, Embiid needs the ball and someone who will make sure he gets it. I don't think Harden is that guy.

But, Simmons for Harden or Beal?
Sign me up.

I have a LOT of concerns about Harden. Putting aside his personality quirks, I am very worried about his fit with Embiid.

Embiid needs the ball in his hands a LOT. The more he is involved in the game, the better he gets. Harden certainly will shift the gravity on the court and open the court up for Embiid but how well will they really co-exist?

Ultimately I'll trust Morey on whatever he decides to do but the fact that Harden decided to come to the preseason like he was a character in King of the Hill, does not reflect well on his personal discipline and focus.

Exactly. A guy like Beal would just feast with all the attention that Embiid would get in the paint. He doesn't demand the ball in his hands all the time.

Honestly, Simmons would be such a GREAT fit along side of Embiid IF he just learned and was willing to shoot. He prefers to dish the ball. He's very good at driving to the hoop. But his lack of shooting is such an impediment.

Having said all that, the Sixers were looking really good right up until they got smoked by Covid. I'm sure Morey wasn't done tinkering but the team is built a LOT better this year. And Maxey has been such a great pick so far this year.

That bench has already won at least two games for them, Paschall is terrific in his role, Lee, Looney, even randoms like Wannamaker and Bazemore

This team is a 6-7 seed team but with play I have no doubt they are contenders
Yeah, people were saying they sucked after just 2 games.....LOL.

would Russell, Beasley and Culver, plus picks make sense? Go with Towns, Harden, and #1 overall Anthony Edwards?

Raptors might be fairly interesting too.

those would be the teams that i think would be logical from a basketball standpoint- but id sure want to talk to Harden before hand if i was either GM and see if he would be happy in Toronto or Minneapolis.

Orlando? have all their picks.....have some interesting young talent in Fultz, Isaac, Gordon, Bomba.....?

problem with Heat and Robinson is- if they trade for Harden they need a guy like Robinson to space.

Harden, Butler, Bam, Robinson would be very interesting if they could get a Harden buy in and convince him to move the ball--- but again- big risk with the buy in and attitude stuff.
Harden doesn't fit Miami's offense......at all.

Tough finish for the Warriors. They couldn’t figure out how to attack the pacers defense which was stellar tonight. Indy hit some big buckets and the Warriors came up short. They need to figure out a way to find some easier baskets especially when the opposition sells out to guard Steph.
Indiana has a good squad.

I dont think the sixers will even win the East with the current core. Harden gives them a better shot at that.
I think Harden and Embiid works a lot better than what they have right now and Harden will pass, to Embiid.....that's a really good 1-2 punch.

If Houston trades him to Brooklyn for Irving.....that's just 1 problem for another.

Dan Patrick just mentioned something interesting that I hadn't really noticed, but now seems obvious.

There haven't really been any rumors or reports of teams being interested or making offers to the Rockets for Harden. Nothing from Woj, Shams, no one.

Maybe no team wants him?

I need to see more Curry.
I know Green can be streaky, but if Embiid is playing at an MVP level, they might just have enough.

And when you use the word 'might', that tells you everything you need to know....

My thinking is that Harden can take over and Embiid doesn't have to do as much.
Ben can't run the PnR with Embiid.
Harden can.

Easy buckets is easy buckets.

When John Wall comes in behind you and easily looks like the voice of reason you are a lost cause. Harden is not worth any of this, period.

Easy buckets is easy buckets.

James Harden also thinks that defense is for suckers.

I just think that Embiid is a better player when he is involved. Someone like Beal would be a perfect outlet for Embiid and would excel in the PnR as well.

He pushed to bring in Chris Paul. And then had he moved out and pushed for Russ and then pushed to have him moved.

IMO, the only player I would be LESS interested in getting would be Kyrie.
