I mean the logical answer is no. By the time he returns the court he won't have played competitive basketball in over 2 full years. On top of that he'll have had to return from two of the most serious injuries basketball players have, an ACL and an Achillies. You think Klay will ever be Klay again?
Healthy that is?
I think they should try and dump him.Kyrie's now demanding Nash be fired and replaced by his agent.
Fordman.Does Ford stand for...
-fix or repair daily
-first on race day
-found on the road dead
??
I think they should try and dump him.
Not sure who would take him though.
I was thinking along the same lines.....his ability to shouldn't won't be impaired, it's just how many games can he play every season.....I mean the logical answer is no. I don't think we'll see the defensive version of Klay that we've seen in the past. Offensively I have no concerns at all. He's one of the best catch and shoot players in NBA history and will continue to be when he gets back. In this NBA he could still get 20 in his sleep. He's never been an above the rim player, so from that aspect he's safe.
The biggest question mark is how will he be able to guard after he gets back. That's the biggest concern for me.
This could be his last stop but some GM might decide to take a chance on him.....maybe?A team would be insane to take on that headcase. He had the issues in Cleveland. He had the issues in Boston. And now he has the issues in Brooklyn.
Who didn't see this coming?
CitySushi, the silver lining guy...But at least he gets to shoot the ball as many times as he wants.
The Nets are locked into 2 more seasons of Irving after this one.....yikes.
lol, yeah. Pretty much a no-brainer. Like Chick Hearn used to say back in the day you coulda called it in Braille...A team would be insane to take on that headcase. He had the issues in Cleveland. He had the issues in Boston. And now he has the issues in Brooklyn.

He signed a 4 year contract worth 141 million. Signed through the 2022-2023 season.Only 1 more season after this one

This is his 2nd year with the team.

Maybe the Pistons make an offer?Nah, ego and money are powerful drugs. Especially when you're talking about a player with World B. Flat's talent.
Some low level playoff/near playoff team will convince themselves that their system/culture/coaching will get him to buy in.
Or some team trying to put butts in seats (eventually) and sell merchandise will bring him in just for the increase in sales.
Yet this ass bag (Irving) always talks like he's the smartest fucker in the room. Not even 10 games in and already MAJORS issues with this immature little boy. Grow up
