Stop it.

Draymond Green was never even supposed to be more than a bit player. He is maybe 6’7, and an average NBA athlete. He took those tools and became a tremendously important member of a dynasty, a 3 time all star and a DPOY.

And you are going to act like he isn’t a hard worker?

Draymond Green is one of the biggest overachievers in the entire NBA.

Criticize him about his antics or his regression all you want. But don’t say he never tried to improve his game. He was never supposed to be more than a low end rotation guy and he was universally considered a top 20 player for a couple years.

Definitely for his draft spot he overachieved. But he was BIG POY so its not like it's crazy he did.

Sure.

But this happens every year. Big time college performers who stay 3-4 years get drafted late because they don’t have the physical upside the top teenagers do.

Yep. I think all said and done Sadiq Bey will be better than Killian Hayes and Sekou for Detroit. As an example.

Hayes already has a major injury though.

I think an age limit would benefit all parties imo. Or at minimum like baseball where you have to come out from HS or wait 3 years.

It is such a difficult dilemma.

The elite players are able to make the jump early, but there really are only a few of these guys a year.

With everyone else that tries to leave after 1 it is about projections and it is a guessing game. Lots of guys with physical talent don’t ever put it all together.

The other side to it for me is you end up pushing a lot of guys out of the league before they can collect a pension for the next young thing. If the league became more about established talent it would be better for the game and the product imo. And college and or the g league also.

Clippers needed to turn Lou Williams into something before they got kawhi and pg.

You don’t need a guy like that when you have those 2 on the roster.

The Warriors have rebounded after a really bad start and beat the Clippers.....improved to 5-4.

His offense has nosedived in the last 3 years, but he's still very useful on D. The advanced stats like DBPM love him, and it does appear he's a defensive difference maker. This game is an example of Draymond at his best. Using his long reach and anticipation to be disruptive on defense, and then attacking the basket on offense.
And he's averaging 5.2apg and 4.2rpg....in 25mpg.

His mpg are being limited it looks like and he's clearly in a shooting slump at 26.7%. No chance he ends the season with that %.

Yeah, it boggles the mind with some of these comments.

The Pistons had a nice win last night and fucked me.

Took the Suns - the points and straight up.

The same people criticizing Green loved Haslem.....

SMH.

They're not the same player so yeah this comparison is dumb. Also the reasons Heat fans love Haslem isn't about what he does on the court so yeah this is an irrelevant comment from you

Right?

Green is a much more successful Haslem.

This isn’t a huge prospect who was oozing with talent we are talking about here.

Umm who said Haslem was better than Green? Go find me a post.....i have all day

Draymond may be a hardworker but you can't tell me one thing he added to his game since his first 2 years. He's been the same player for his entire career
