The Grizz aren’t very good but the Cavs somehow win with a depleted roster and no Sexton lol

grizz are missing 60% of their starting lineup with Morant, JJJ and Winslow out though.

Cavs front court, even with Love missing is no joke with Nance and Drummond.

I think the Warriors being 4-4 right after having played the Nets, Bucks, Clippers and Blazers twice is just about as solid as you could hope for to start the year.

Their offense looks really stagnant and has a lot of room for improvement. I will say their defense overall has been much improved from Game 1 to game 8.

They have a decently tough stretch coming up against the Clippers, Raptors, Pacers, Nuggets, Suns and Lakers coming up in the next 6 games. This will be telling to see where they can go from here the rest of the season.

they beat Portland at home.

Their other 3 wins are against Sacramento, Chicago and Detroit.

He's a better player when healthy but he doesn't like basketball....will always find a reason to not play

When did Larry Nance become some star? The guy is a role player just like Winslow. Not even close? Larry Nance isn't a top 100 player lol.

Athletically....yes he is.

Nance isn't nearly athletic but is good because of the dedication and hard work he puts in.

Nance is a better shooter, rebounder, shot blocker, steals guy, better team guy on the court and off, and is a leader. Not only that- but Winslow was a "part time" PG that had a TO/APG ration of barely 2-1. As far as passing talent goes- out of the PF position- Nance is better.

The Cavs had dick tonight - had every excuse to layover on the 2nd night of a back to back on the road with half their roster out and Nance goes out there with 18 pts, 4/4 on threes, 4 assists, 3 steals and is the complete player on the court for either team.

Nance is no Hassan Whiteside getting beat out for minutes by Nemanja Bjelica and Richaun Holmes on a roster that doesnt even have a true center on it---- going for 11.8 minutes, 5.3 points, and 4.3 boards a night (while getting 2 DNP-CD's)---- but maybe some day he can aspire to such lofty credentials and take his place among "maybe the best center in the league".

very weird stat- that definitely is in large part an indication of how early it is

but right now Larry Nance Jr. is averaging the most steals in the NBA. #1

the next big man on that list is Drummond at #9.
