Durant came into the league 2 years earlier. If you strip out those first 2 years, they are nearly identical from a true shooting %...And Durant is so much better all around to go with it.

Durant is obviously the superior player.

Curry is the best shooter of all time. KD is not in the conversation.

Not close.

Your hate for Curry is really clouding your judgement.

A Herro jersey should come with a face-mask sporting a little girl sneer.

And Carrasco. Say what ya will about them but I doubt you'd ever see Haslam and/or Gilbert not going all out to win when they had a lineup capable of being a legit playoff contender.

so hard to be a fan of this team.

I have never liked Dolan. And Francona should just step down. He's too good of a mamnger to be stuck in this mess. He doesn't deserve it.

Not really. I mean where do you rank Ray Allen and Reggie Miller. You also have to factor in the fact that nobody plays defense in the NBA anymore...I wouldn't rank him the best shooter of all time...His fg% isn't high enough

My sister sent me a package from Ohio. Wasn't expecting it. Two Wheaties boxes with LeBron on them.

Shooting involves 2pt and 3pt. I would give you 3pt, but i haven't been impressed with his 2 pt shot. Just being honest...Durant on the other hand is butter from 2 and not really far off from 3. It is what it is

Durant is a better shooter

Do you ever look at numbers? Steph's a career 43.4% shooter from downtown. KD's .381.

Steph has shot at at least 40% from downtown 10 times.

KD has shot at least 40% from downtown 4 times.

Steph is called by many the greatest shooter ever.

We are talking about pure shooting ability.

Overall FG% is irrelevant because it doesn’t factor in shot type.

KD is better 18 feet and in because he is 7 feet tall and the better player.

Ray Allen is a career 40% 3 point shooter and 89.4 from the line. Miller 39.5 and 88.8.

Curry is 43.4, 90.6 AND he takes more high difficulty attempts than either of those players did.

NBA teams also defend the 3 point line a lot better today than they did in the 90s.

Miller and Allen are probably pretty comparable to KD in terms of shooting ability. None compare to Curry.

Anybody who understands basketball is looking at 3 point and FTs to assess top shooters.

A quick glance at annual FG% leaders should be all that is needed to understand why.

@Shanemansj13

Albeit a small sample size, but this is the kind of improvement I was talking about. He's not elite defensively, but he is getting better and his effort has been significantly improved.

I think the Warriors being 4-4 right after having played the Nets, Bucks, Clippers and Blazers twice is just about as solid as you could hope for to start the year.

Their offense looks really stagnant and has a lot of room for improvement. I will say their defense overall has been much improved from Game 1 to game 8.

They have a decently tough stretch coming up against the Clippers, Raptors, Pacers, Nuggets, Suns and Lakers coming up in the next 6 games. This will be telling to see where they can go from here the rest of the season.

They look like a 1st round playoff team to me.

1 that high seeds won’t be thrilled about playing against.

We need to dispatch the Kyrie > Curry narrative once and for all. It wasn’t close to being true 4 years ago and it isn’t true now.

Curry is 4 years older than Kyrie. But there isn’t a single GM in the league who would take Kyrie over Curry even though skill sets are pretty comparable overall.

And the reason is simple. Curry is the ultimate team player. He will gladly sacrifice for the betterment of the team and he is reliable.

Kyrie is not. The drama today just further illustrates that point. Kyrie didn’t communicate to his team today. Nobody knows why he is out. Hopefully nothing is seriously wrong with him or a family member, but you just never know with Kyrie.

And, guess what? The Nets are 6 minutes away from beating Philly without him.

Wait!! What?

A team with World B. Flat on it, wins without him?

No way.

The Grizz aren’t very good but the Cavs somehow win with a depleted roster and no Sexton lol
