If Philly wanted to....I am sure the Lakers would comply and trade Kuz, a contract and a 2nd rounder for Harris. We would get even better...

Why would we want a league average player??????

Tobias Harris playing great. Also, that is just a terrible deal for someone like Harris. He is worth a mid 1st round pick and a player better than kuzma at minimum

I’m doubtful since the contract is underwater. Not only zero surplus value, negative surplus value.

that’s why it doesn’t make any sense to deal him either. They probably can’t get what would help them or that.

Interesting note, the 6-1 Sixers haven't played anyone from the West yet and the 6-2 Lakers haven't played anyone from the East. No real meaning there just noticed it.

if there was ever a post that showed you have no idea how the salary cap works this is it.

Wrong.

That's a first for me I believe.
Kyrie is just at a ho-hum 50% from the field, 40% from 3, 100% from the free throw line, 27 pts, 5.2 boards 6.3 apg. , only 2.2 to per game, so far this year.

guy is a d-bag but he is unreal.

in order to get salaries to match they would have to trade Kuzma (3M), Shroeder (15M), Pope (12M), and STILL have to kick in more salary to get close to Harris' 34M.

not only that- but Harris and Davis are both PF- Davis has said how much he hates playing center.

it would make zero sense- for either team. like- absolutely no sense from a fit perspective, from a financial perspective. I mean....just wow.

Spurs beat the CLippers
admittedly i basically never watch the Spurs. But i just dont know what this team is trying to be and i dont know where its going. I really hate their roster---i get they dont want to rebuild with Pop in his twilight....but its just such a weirdly constructed team.

getting Horford out there was the biggest part if you ask me. Finally got Harris comfortable and confident in his role and playing time.

Horford is a solid player- even at his age---- but it never made sense to have Embiid at the 5....and then Harris and Horford. It was ridiculous roster construction.

Or maybe, like I have been saying for years, Brett Brown is a really terrible coach.

I don't know if he is a terrible coach in that he might wind up being a good coach somewhere else. But I do think he was out his depth in the environment in Philly. Going from tankathon to trying to build a contender was just too much for him.
