Was Bubble Muray a real thing? I know it is early but signs point to Murray being the same Murray as he always been. Solid player but nothing special which isn't a surprise.

He put up numbers in the playoffs that would have him in the conversation as a top 10 player if he was able to do it consistently in the regular season. 26/6/5 on 50% from the field and 45% from 3. That is superstar numbers.

I am going to say no

The player he will end up being is probably somewhere between normal Murray and bubble Murray.

But dude was just on fire. And playing every game in 1 spot with no travel certainly helped guys like him get locked in.

That’s right.

Not a very good chance though. Not nearly as good as their odds to win the East.

Because the West is stronger by a good bit.
thinking more because LAL in the West.

I’m not familiar with the protocol but if the protocol dictates he miss that many games regardless of testing I think it should still remain standard and not on a case by case basis. This is going to happen more times during the year. Can’t have some cases where they reduce amount of games missed because they “favor” certain players and allow them back sooner.
Been hearing some complaining from Browns fans as well (yeah, get Wall a player not a fan). How you mention is how this goes and protocols were agreed upon by league and unions. No playing favorites.

I agree.

LAC and Milwaukee/NJ probably about the same level.

Denver, Portland, Utah similar to Boston, and Miami

Atlanta, Dallas, Memphis Phoenix, New Orleans are all exciting young teams with upside that could rise into higher tiers pretty quickly.

Although not Memphis right now with their injury situation.

It will piss me off if the Cavs are like the 9th or 10th or 11th best team in the East.

They need one more year where they can get a high pick and add one more guy in the draft that can be a big time talent.

but i have to say--- I was really worried about Garland last year. As that TheAthletic article said- he looked brutal. In November a lot of the Cavs said that during the fall work-outs for non-bubble teams that Garland stuck out the most and looked great. I took that with a grain of salt since- fall workouts dont mean anything.

but i gotta say- right now he looks good. As far as talent goes-Zion and Ja are the cream of the crop of that draft- but after those 2 Garland looks as talented as anyone- despite playing 4 college games, coming to a poor team, and missing games after being excluded from the bubble.

Okoro/Sexton/Garland is a pretty promising start. Lets just hope they dont win too many games and ruin their shot at a guy that can bring it all together in this upcoming loaded draft.
Agree with that first comment. I mean, if they could get into playoffs with real shot to at least compete in first round, fine, but to be a sure loser in a sweep or be just outside playoffs is a waste of a monster class coming up.

Not very high on Philly?

Philly, Houston, Indiana

All good teams.

None are legit contenders to me at the moment. Philly has the most opportunity for growth there, but I need to see more from them.

everyone entitled to their opinion...and mine is a guy getting called out for being hurt on the football field from a guy behind his computer is comical.

Now go Browns/Bucks

I've worked 40 straight days with a high ankle sprain and I walk probably 8 miles a day. Granted I wouldn't be cutting through offensive lines but I still walk faster than my employees.

Sometimes you gotta gut the shit out to bring the money home.

Only bright side is they only put $2 up. Everything else sucks.

That's was my mindset when I missed out on hitting a similar parlay because Chubb was 2 yards short of his o/u rushing yards
Still that’s brutal
