^ This is totally true.

The best both could have done last night is shut the haters up for a day or two.

Instead, they laid an egg and gave the haters plenty of ammo to talk it up for the near term.
No doubt. As KD recently said, you’re making millions of dollars to deal with that shit. You take the good with the bad and if you want to make it go away you control the narrative by making them wrong.

Kornheiser on PTI yesterday.

"Philadelphia fans are notoriously the most abusive in sports."

:laugh3:

How are they called the city of brotherly love?

Some of it is earned and some of it is just a lazy hot take. Tony Kornheiser is a hero of mine. He’s made a very nice living talking about sports despite not knowing shit about sports and never competing at a level beyond rec leagues. You have to respect a man who can manufacture a career out of nothing.

When did I say they didn’t get their ass kicked? What I said is that people like you want to make this about “there’s playoff Harden again” want to make this a playoff game on March 10th and that’s not the case. Dude had a bad game. It’s still a regular season game. How about you do a better job of establishing this as some ultimate game that tells the story and predicts the future and then you can say I’m “making excuses”. Do a better job because all you’ve established is you’re a hater who has been laying in wait through 5 Harden games for the right time to lay into him.

Here's the deal with this.

The NBA season is 82 games long and for shoo-in playoff team like the Sixers, Nets, etc. Most of those games are meaningless, even when it's between 2 playoff teams.

But there are a few games every year that ''mean a little more'' or have a ''playoff atmosphere''. In those games, teams and their star players are expected to step up, especially at home. The Sixers didn't and James Harden played terribly which seems to happen a lot with him in big games and the playoffs.

Add in the Sixers fans crowing ever since the trade and there's a little bit of a ''we told you so'' going on as well.

I got got myself. Puked around 6 pm and then again around 11 pm. The biggest piece of the retreat wrapped last night around 1 am. Drove home. I feel like complete ass. Can’t keep anything down and yet still pissing out my asshole. Hope it’s just a 24 hour thing.

Isn’t that what I said? Haters have been waiting for the moment. 5 good games. 1 dog shit performance. The script is still being written is what I’m saying.

No, I think it’s a stomach bug going around. You live in community like that for a number of days and all it takes is one kid for that stuff to spread. I’m sittin on the fuckin bowl as I type this ha. And there’s nothing in my stomach as of 5:30 pm.

Always have liked Kornheiser & Wilbon. But I gotta good laugh outta the end of your comment. But there's probably some truth to that. He wasn't an athlete.

I had a day like that a few weeks ago. Tried to starve it out, but eating actually did more good. Gotta be careful about dehydration too.

Giants fans, not people

(just kidding, lol)
Actually, the story I heard had nothing to do with baseball or fandom. It was gang shit at its core that just happened to play out in Dodgers stadium.

I am definitely dehydrated. Couldn’t even keep down water. I think it’s starting to subside cause I’ve had two bottles over the last hour and haven’t puked it up yet. <Knocks on wood>

I think it took at least 12 hours for me, but my issues were all out the other end lol.
