I know Russell is the greatest winner in NBA history.

But, was he a better player than Durant?

More accomplished team accolades doesn't equate to being the better player.

Was Garnett better than Barkley?

That's a really hard one for me.

He asked for A Trade which became the CP3 trade because that’s all they could make work. And then it actually worked despite having two guys who were ball dominant. CP3 isn’t for everybody and him railing on Harden about his man boobs (still funny to me) made personal shit bigger than basketball shit. CP3 works in Pho because who is not gonna defer to him on that roster? Same in OKC that one year. But each pairing after CP3 got worse and worse.

Morey - I said all along this should have been a three team deal with Nets Houston and us a year ago. But now James is where he wanted to be.

Also….I’m coming to realize that Morey likely didn’t have the leverage I thought he did in the Harden/Simmons deal. I just assessed it from the standpoint of Harden was going scorched earth and he had to get out. If it gets done in the summer with a Harris salary dump and Harden FA signing Morey would have been fucked on tampering. It sounds like he has been in conversation with Harden and his camp for a long time.
