How many C's have averaged 25+/13+/8 for a season?

And who has more double-doubles & trip-dubs this season? Jokic leads the league in double-doubles (51). Embiid has 31. Jokic leads the league in trip-dubs (17). Embiid has 2. All numbers from nba-.com.
Give me those defensive stats again. Those are my favorites! In that analysis, Steph Curry is a better defender than Draymond Green because carry the one and divide by the pimple on his ass and then work it through the average of the celsius grade in the Colorado Rockies on December the 13th.

Hey guys,
Did you know that Doncic is one of the top 10 defenders in the NBA? Did you know that Steph Curry is one of the top 20 defenders in the league? Did you know Devin Booker was also a top 20 defender? I saw a stat.

Jokic averages more rebs, asts, stls, has a better FG%, a better 3-pt. %, has more double-doubles, has more trip-dubs. But, but, but...Embiid averages more pts.

I hope for your sake Embiid wins MVP. Because if he doesn't you might have a meltdown. But Jokic is having the better all around season. And the numbers, which you choose ignore, state that clearly.

You're not be objective and you did the same thing last season when Jokic played every game (Embiid missed 21 of 72 games), lead the league in double-doubles & was 2nd in trip-dubs.

Your 76ers fandom won't allow you to take what the head to head numbers say into consideration.

The 6 seed in the weaker of the two conferences is having the better season? Interesting. Why do you think PPG is something I focused on in my argument? I'll give you a hint. The game of basketball has changed. We may never see again a Center who leads the league in scoring. It's pretty fucking impressive for a 5 to lead the NBA in scoring.

So the only stat that matters is Embiid leads the league in scoring, all the other head to head numbers mean nothing? No reason to keep going back & forth about this. You're fixated on only one stat and think all the other numbers won't factor into who wins MVP this season.

Look at last season. The head to head numbers are why Jokic won MVP. And if Jokic wins again it's gonna be because of those head to head stats. Jokic leads in more categories. The numbers don't lie.

It isn't even the stat itself that matters. It's that it's unheard of for a Center to lead the league in scoring these days. Jokic won MVP because Embiid missed too many games last year. I'm fixated on a holistic approach to who the better player is. As I've said many times, both guys are elite offensive players who impact the game in different ways. One guy is an elite defensive player and the other guy is just a guy on the defensive end.

Lots of grading on a curve here.

"Jokic is better than Embiid because Murray and MPJ are hurt and James Harden is really good."
I never said he was better LOL. That really has nothing to do with winning the MVP. I am basically saying he is right in the thick of race and you seem to think Embiid is running away with it, which isn't the case. It seems you are taking any credit away from Jokic as you can...winning games is more difficult with 2 of your top 3 players, just sayin.

Hard to win back to back, in most cases they are giving it to the guy that didn't win it. Keep taking credit away from Jokic though
Meh....go find my post last week arguing that All NBA 1st team is a sham because both Embiid and Jokic are top 5 players this year and yet only one can make 1st team because of dumb self-imposed rules.

That's all he does. Talking like Jokic isn't on the same level as Embiid

You're fixated alright, no doubt about that. You think the only numbers that will decide MVP this season is the only number you care about, scoring. To you all the other numbers mean nothing. I don't think that's the case. And Jokic has greatly improved his D this season. But you don't wanna hear any of that. It's not like he's some kinda liability on the defensive end.

I'm a teacher. I see kids "greatly improve every day". But guess what? My kid that struggles to write and gets better isn't Ernest Fucking Hemingway, haha.

I mean Jokic is already the best passing big man of all-time...I mean think about that, pretty crazy. I will say I haven't been the biggest fan of Jokic but what he is doing is simply amazing. He has always had great vision but now he is unstoppable offensively and he is playing very good defense too, on ball and off ball.

Take into account he gets half as many FT's as Embiid too. Jokic could average 30 a game, I don't doubt that for a second but he is the main facilitator and main scoring option. For a big man, you don't see that too often

Why? Is that not part of the game anymore? You're not going to go to the foul line much if you're playing 20 ft away from the basket.
