Totally disagree about the Boston series. 1 bad game in a best of 7 series doesn't= bad series
He had the ball taken out of his hands and TJ MCConnell was put in the starting lineup. You have a right to your opinion, but you’re wrong. They’re the first team to employ what has become the blue print for dealing with Ben Simmons. He was completely flummoxed and his response was to just shut down and give up the ball. That manifested in one awful game but none of them were “good games”. Playoffs aren’t built for a man whose game is what his is now. In the playoffs what you can’t do gets used against you. We don’t even know if Ben Simmons “can’t” because he’s a pussy who “won’t”. He’d rather lose and avoid doing something that makes him look dumb or bad on the court. You think that image of him passing off a dunk covered by a midget isn’t the thing to be the last straw to set dude off? He blames Doc and Embiid for comments but it’s about that image being played over and over and over again on Sportscenter and the whole world calling him a vag that triggered dude.

Somebody else’s problem now.

It wasn't just about one bad game for BS in that '18 series against the Celtics. Look at his +/-. Only one game of that five game series did he have a positive +/-. The 76ers were a -63 when he was on the floor. And while he dished out 32 assists he also had 24 TO's.

Any chance the 76ers have a Ben Simmons appreciation day on 5/10 when the Nets visit the Land of Cheesesteaks?

Can't say that just yet. Like @Mecca said Barnes & Giddy are having fine rookie seasons. And so is Cunningham. But only Barnes is playing for a team above .500.

I think that is much less important for ROY

Giddey has missed the last several games with a hip injury and they aren’t in any hurry to get him back

Outside of the atlanta series, when has he been horrible? He performed how he normally does in the regular season

That really isn't true. While he isn't as terrible as he was in the Hawks series, he has wilted in just about every 2nd round series he's been in.

I think the NBA, ESPN and TNT really need to rethink their approach. They have to be able to flex games. A game that sounds great in October may not sound so great in March or April. The Grizzlies may be a small market team but they have a super exciting player to watch on their team.
The NFL does it.
