I think it was pretty clear with who they played (Garland) and how they came out that the Cavs had this game circled after Embiid’s 40 point triple double. Taking away Embiid seemed to be the focus of the defense going zone. It was actually some nice prep work before the Miami game tonight. Spo plays a ton of zone.
No doubt the cavs wanted this one. Had a playoff type atmosphere. Hope this means they will play more like they did before their rough stretch.

Cavs had their chances last night. Missed multiple wide open 3's in the 4th quarter.

Best bracket for Miami is to play Charlotte or Atlanta round 1 then boston or Chicago round 2.

Yes I see that as a clear path to the eastern conference finals.

No problem, I am sure Ben Simmons will just turn it on during the playoffs like he always does, right?

Why are we going with this BS narrative like Ben disappear in the playoffs like Harden?

Maybe Harden will fade in the playoffs again, certainly possible. But it looks like at least Philly will have a good playoff seed. Brooklyn is getting nothing from Simmons and may be a play-in squad at this rate. They have lost 3 straight, and are 3-7 in last 10. Philly by contrast has won 5 straight and is 8-2 in last 10.

Because he does. Ben Simmons isn’t a playoff player. Not sure what that has to do with Harden (other than the fact that the comment must have hit a nerve that made you mad.)

They haven't been healthy. The 3-7 means very little. They're not going to be without durant in the playoffs as they been in the 9 of the last 10 games

Maybe. But again, they are getting nothing from Ben Simmons, and Harden is giving Philly a huge lift right now. Those are facts.

Harden isn't a playoffs player either. They are both the same. Neither takes their game to the next level

He's so triggered, it's hilarious. I think he is scurred of the Sixers ruining the season for his Heat???

In the playoffs at least Harden has a role for his team. Ben Simmons couldn’t even play the dunker role in the half court because he’s scared to go to the line.

Philly isn't deep enough to make a good run if Harden doesn't step up and dominate in the playoffs. Maxey and Harris are nice but it's not enough.

That's fine and all but this will be settled on the court most likely. We are trending towards a sixers/nets round 1 series

Both are going to be forever linked as guys that tried to destroy their teams both on and off the court. If we have to pick who was worse it was definitely Harden.
