In the playoffs at least Harden has a role for his team. Ben Simmons couldn’t even play the dunker role in the half court because he’s scared to go to the line.

Is basketball only played on offense? I get you hate simmons but you can't ignore his defense

Both are going to be forever linked as guys that tried to destroy their teams both on and off the court. If we have to pick who was worse it was definitely Harden.

EASILY

Philly isn't deep enough to make a good run if Harden doesn't step up and dominate in the playoffs. Maxey and Harris are nice but it's not enough.
Agreed. But Harden isn’t playing fugaze Dantoni ball anymore which is ass in the playoffs. It’s great in the regular season when opponents see ya once in a blue moon without a commitment to playoff level defense. Sixers have zero depth which for most teams is an issue. For a Doc Rivers team it may be a blessing in disguise as he has been known to overplay his bench with some odd rotations. Maybe that isn’t as bad when he actually doesn’t have decent bodies to turn to.

Well Trae Young did as he averaged 29 and 11 in that series but whatever. I guess without Ben he would have gone for 35 and 13.

I think the NBA, ESPN and TNT really need to rethink their approach. They have to be able to flex games. A game that sounds great in October may not sound so great in March or April. The Grizzlies may be a small market team but they have a super exciting player to watch on their team.

Man, we sure did.

What a damn good season so far for the Cavs. They've surpassed everyone's expectations. And one thing I've been wondering lately is what would they have looked like this season with a healthy Sexton.

Like I mentioned before this is the first time I've had NBA league pass, liking it a lot. So I'm unfamiliar with Sexton's game. And Mobley. I was impressed with him last season. Even went outta my way to watch USC games. I think the sky's the limit for him. Very talented.

No reason your Cavs aren't a fixture in the playoffs for years to come. Bickerstaff's a damn good coach. And K. Love seems to be really enjoying this season. He always has a smile on his face.

Even the Saturday abc game. Warriors/Lakers should have been flexed to sixers/heat. They do have the ability to flex games but they choose not to. Heat been flexed out twice already. Lakers i get the obsession due to bron but knicks? They had 1 decent season and no marquee players. All of their games from February on should have been removed

That's fine and all but this will be settled on the court most likely. We are trending towards a sixers/nets round 1 series
And that's a series where it's a real question if Simmons will pay the games in Philly.

No doubt the cavs wanted this one. Had a playoff type atmosphere. Hope this means they will play more like they did before their rough stretch.
Two big games I feel like they need to win coming up just bc of seeding and their current losing streak. Toronto and Indiana, would be good to go 2-0 but I would be fine with 1-1 more importantly beating TOR lol

I will say Doc’s reputation might be on the line just as much as Harden’s, at least in my opinion. Always has super talented teams and falls short

And that’s the Sixers identity:
Embiid no rings
Harden no rings
Maxey 21st pick
Doc - coach that has blown more 3-1 leads than anybody
Harris - guy who gets told he’s overpaid and not worth having around

Can that group direct it all toward a championship? We’ll see. But there are guys there that are looking to prove themselves.
