Well apparently a pretty good team ( not named the Dubs...lol/smh ) understands the value of adding front court depth, especially this time of year as teams are jockeying for post season positions and seedings.

Not saying he'll be a huge difference maker for Philly, but I'm sure Doc will see to it that he contributes in certain spots/game situations when needed. Also gives them the luxury of resting Embiid & Drummond for longer stretches in key games.
Drummond is a Net and DeAndre Jordan is whale shit. The Sixers have better on their roster already. I hate this move and quite honestly, a dude like this has no role on the Warriors.

And I wouldn't call any of those guys soft. Part of AD's prtoblem is he's 7 feet tall, but moves like point guard. In fact, if memory serves, he was a point guard before he had a growth spurt. So he's out there with a 7 foot frame moving and cutting like he's 6'4".

That doesn't always work and it's why you see him hitting the floor a lot too.
Actually, that's fair.

The part about style of play.

I still think he's soft.

But, maybe saying he has only recently started to take care of his body the right way is a less aggressive way to put it?

Plus, yeah....

He needs to stop hitting the floor every play.

I assume you all saw the story about Russ having mutual interest in being elsewhere next Season?

Enough to turn down his player option?

He'd be insane.

Do the Lakers want him gone enough to stretch him?

They are paying the last year of Deng. So, I don't see it.

Trade with picks?

Who has 45 mil in capspace to take him?

I think the Lakers would have to eat long-term money, bad contracts.

I would just keep him or waive him and eat the one year.

Your books will be clean soon.

Yeah, I think he may need to start playing a little more like a traditional big...not completely because it's part of what makes him special. But it takes a toll.

Hopefully, taking better care of his body will help going forward.

Why is it wearing a "Lakers homer helmet" to point out that KD is also injury prone, but it doesn't get talked about near as much as AD being injury prone does?

What does KD's injury history have to do with AD's though? I thought it was a bad comparison.

Saw the stretch option somewhere else.....I don't know.

Would love it if he turned down the option if he really wanted out.....LOL.

Sure.

Let's say all of this was true.

Still doesnt change the fact that Nunn is a walking , shit talking ponzi scheme.

There is no amount of tapatio you can put on that shit sandwich to make it taste any better.
Cholua and Frank's is better.

He needs to get a trainer to help him take better care of his body so he can play longer.

That's what I was saying yesterday. There are essentrially 3 options.

1.) He can turn down his option and sign with whomever he wants. But I can't see anyone giving him anywhere close to that $47 million.
2.) Turn down the option and work with the Lakers on finding a sign and trade deal with a team that may be looking to tank. He still isn't getting $47 million, but maybe he can get a little closer if salaries have to match.
3.) Opt in and then he and the Lakers try to find someone who will take him as an expiring contract.

My guess is, he's opting in, no one is going to want him and he and the rest of the team will have to try to figure out a way to make it work for 1 season. Maybe they can move him close to the deadline next season?

That's @DJ trying to deflect.

He Introduced the narrative that people are shitting on Nunn and AD because we are " Laker haters" since nobody mentions Durant and Covington had a similar issue.

Unfortunately, he has been successful.

Because, we are talking about Durant.

Props to him.

I was pointing out a bone bruise almost cause Covington to retire.....they can be more serious than just thinking, "Oh, it's just a bone bruise."

And brought up KD because he gets a pass on his injuries while AD is criticized all the time about it.

Both are injury prone bigs. One gets questioned all of the time, the other doesn't. It was a legit comparison and a legit question.

What DJ posted had a helluva lot more to do with the convo than what you said when comparing their resume's.

Yeah.

I hate y'all.

But, from a basketball perspective, I hope you don't eat horrible, long-term contracts just to banish him.

The only exception?

Wall and Christan Woods for Westbrook, THT and a pick.

Wood and Davis would be nice.

Never said KD was better, can be a little crazy but not that level of crazy.
