Sometimes different isn’t better. It’s just different. That applies here.Yeah, it makes me laugh when people try to act like not making that trade was somehow a bad thing.

Some people are simply not good at being a good general manager and should leave that alone - I knew Phil Jackson would be one of those people when Phil Jackson wanted the Lakers to trade Kobe Bryant for Jason Kidd. No disrespect for Kidd, but - No way in hell. Lebron is also one of them because those draft picks for RW was simply to much to give up. Buddy Hield from Sacramento would have made more sense and then kept Caruso. You're kidding, right?
Wall is a worse version of Westbrook who hasn't played all year and the Rockets wanted the Lakers 2027 first round pick. That would have been a very stupid trade that would have done exactly nothing to improve the team or enabled to get additional help via trade or the buyout market.
That 1st round pick can be used in a trade that actually helps the team or to be used in 2027 if they need it. It's literally one of about 3 assets that the Lakers have for their future. You don't trade that for John Wall.
That trade made no sense whatsoever,. The Lakers were correct to not take an a player that hasn't played a game yet all season. Now in the summer time, it might, but I think they have to give Westbrook the chance to turn it around before The trade deadline next year.
They still have 20 games left to do that now and turn it around - but RW might take it personally that Lebron wanted him to be traded - that is a chemistry destroyer thereI agree with some of this.
They were definitely correct in not doing the Wall trade.
As for Westbrook, the Lakers need to try to move him in the off-season. To do so, they will need a team that is looking to tank, but want someone who will still put butts in seats. If the trade makes sense, I wouldn't have an issue with them attaching that '27 pick to it.
Barring that, then yeah, you hope that over the course of the off-season and training camp, you can figure out a way to make it work.
Wow....
Booker out with Covid.
Can the Dubs get their shit together and catch them?
Depends on the variant I thinkWow....

Better question is can Memphis pass GS.Nah suns are too far and assuming no symptoms, booker only going to miss 3 games or so

Getting the 2 or the 3 is a big deal. The 6 will most likely be Dallas or Denver
If draymond isn't back soon, warriors are in trouble
It's on now!!!

Well you wanna solely blame LeBron for where the Lakers are right now.
But what I said is just as absurd as trying to say LeBron's only to blame.
I get it, many don't like LeBron. But he simply isn't the sole reason for where the Lakers are.
He's the one who insisted on Westbrook when they could have had Hield which also would have allowed them to keep Caruso and naybe KCP or someone. So yeah, I put this on Lebron.
No, what's absurd is pretending this isn't on Lebron.
It has nothing to do with liking or not liking Lebron. It has to do with the fact that he insisted on the Westbrook trade. The Lakers had no interest in Westbrook. That was all Lebron and he got AD on board. Then they went to Pelinka and insisted that they would make it work. That trade is also why they had to sign the likes of Bazemore, Ellington, DJ and Ariza instead of keeping guys like Caruso and KCP.
The only part of this that isn't on Lebron are the injuries.
