Guilty as charged...

Throw the book at me...:D
As an insurance auditor, I am only as good as the last audit I turned in... if I turn in crap, I am toast. Using that analogy, Lebron has had to bad seasons since then ending with forcing the Lakers to trade for Westbrook.

with LeBron's age, and the fact that he was signed for 2 more years- I hate the "forced" word.

I totally agree that LeBron likely wanted RW- but at what point does the GM have a spine and do what he thinks is best for the team instead of letting a 37 year old LeBron who is under contract for 2 more years run the show?

That was weakness on Buss and Pelinka's part.

especially - you know LeBron is not going to take responsibility. Its not LeBron's ass that is in the hot seat if the move fails. Its the guy with GM and Owner in their title.

One of two things is true

1. Pelinka let LeBron convince him to make the deal even though he thought it was bad for the team

or

2. Pelinka thought it was good for the team.

Either one of those options makes Pelinka look like a fool.

A big weakness too. And even with the success LeWrong had in building his own team in Miami, it still ended badly with Bosh getting blood clots. The team Riley might have been better ..Who knows, but after this, I think the owners are going to be slower to jump to player demands and will reset the natural order of things if they have a spine

problem about RW this offseason -is you MIGHT be able to trade him- but no one is going to offer you 48 million (his salary) in expiring contracts for his expiring contract. Hell- its probably almost impossible to find a team that even has 48 million in expiring deals (unless you count Houston and Wall- who already said they want your 1st round pick that the Lakers dont want to give up).

Do you want to get rid of him so bad that you compromise your possible cap space the following season?

That is the question they are going to have to wrestle with.
Lakers would be better with two younger players that will have a future. We both know that these one year player rentals seldom work out

He and Bertans have found their places quickly in this lineup and both are contributing. And yet some people gave the Mavs an “F” on the trade.

Who?

None of the players involved were coveted trade assets because of their standing on their previous rosters.

It was an exchange of underachieving players deemed as bad contracts.

I think that yesterday was pretty much a wrap for the Hornets season. They are so poorly coached it's nauseating.
