How dare you call someone that's lying a liar? Oh wait a minute.
This is must see TV....lol

:stephena:

“Rich Paul called me yesterday and asked me to quote him on this story about him, and Klutch Sports, and essentially them wanting the Lakers to trade Russell Westbrook and a first-round pick to Houston for John Wall. He wanted me to state emphatically that there was absolutely, positively no truth to that whatsoever. He never did that. He did not do that. The people who wrote the story never contacted him to get any kind of perspective from him on that.

“It is an absolute lie, and he said ‘could you please do me a favor and quote me and tell the world that I specifically said that’s a damn lie. There is no truth. It never happened.

As a card carrying member of the Lakers haters club, don't tell anyone I said that (Celtics in 7 some day), I hope their roster woes continue for as long as possible.

And this stuff with Klutch. Bunch of dumbasses.

Must have gotten back to him that literally everyone thought it was an idiotic idea.

I really hope they can squash that beef for good.

Ray Allen is a victim here. KG and Pierce petty as hell blaming him for leaving.

His name came up in every trade rumor for 2 years. And they expect him to resign?

Come on now.

And lol @them trying to pose for a picture together like there's never been an issue.

Agree though, they need to squash that, that team was washed by the time Allen left. Even if it wasn't, their title shot ended as soon as Lebron and Bosh joined D-Wade in Miami.

From TheAthletic:

Multiple things can be true, such as James most certainly sending pointed messages to the Lakers with his comments to me over the weekend. But I also believe James was being sincere about perhaps returning to Cleveland someday. It’s just a little more complicated this time.

The Cavs have been bracing for this, with LeBron back in town for All-Star weekend and the inevitable questions about him perhaps returning for a third stint. They knew it was coming. What no one could’ve predicted was the current state of the Lakers and the stench emitting from the smoldering ashes of their season. Even more incredulous was how quickly the Cavs returned to contention in the East without him.

Put it all together and, well, it had to be an uncomfortable weekend for Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka.

“I think Koby and those guys have done an unbelievable job drafting and making trades,” James told me. It was a stunning turn of events. All of it, the praise for Altman, Presti and Snead, were ultimately body blows to his own GM.

Did anyone ever think it was months away though? He wasn't injured and by the looks of him, he didn't put on a shit ton of weight either. Just a handful of weeks to get his conditioning and cardio back is what's needed.
