Gotta say- it was pretty great hearing all the praise for Mobley and Garland this weekend. Everyone around the league really seems to think highly of and have a lot of respect for Garland. You hear a ton of vets say how they really like his game.

Mobley of course is just a rook- but people are just gushing over him. He is one of the best prospects the game has seen in a long time. He seems a little like Anthony Davis except he has balls. The guy is so smooth.

Since KG - I do not remember a big that has a higher more versatile ceiling defensively. Maybe he doesn't get there and become a Davis or KG player- the odds are against it--- but he certainly has all the tools. He needs to be more consistent with his shot- but his shot looks pretty good- like he can develop it. If he could get a semi-reliable 3 pointer itll just be nuts.

He may or may not make the All Star team next year--- but I am confident he will make the following year- and then for a lot of years in a row after that.
Steph's been on record praising Garland.

This was from September of 21. Lots of people like you said around the league like Garlands game.

I know Draymond has been raving about him since maybe the Olympics?

Oh Damn. JJ Redick woke up and chose violence on Zion today. How bad is it when JJ Redick, of all people, is out there bringing the flame thrower

thing is- I dont really think Lakers fans ever truly embraced LeBron. It has always been kind of a wary relationship. And now LeBron's comments over the ASB will make it even more so.

and now they go into post-all star break without Davis being multiple games under .500.

its going to be interesting

I cant ever see trading LeBron- but I wonder if the Lakers consider it this offseason if they cant make a move to solidfy the team for next year.

Its an interesting situation. Everything is on the table if you ask me.
I don’t see him ever being trading either and if so who is realistically trading for him and what are they giving up? Plus he has input on his destination. Very few teams he would consider regardless.

The more concerning thing here is that Father Time has put Lebron on notice.

Maybe from the standpoint that he has had to miss more games than ever before, but as far as his level of play...if the Lakers had a better record, Lebron would be in the thick of the MVP race.

It’s not LBJ’s fault they traded for Russ. All Pelinka and the FO

The fuck kind of revisionist history is this?

Pelinka had a trade set up with Sacramento that would have brought them Hield. Lebron and AD met with Westbrook and they went to Pelinka and assured him they could make it work. Pelinka decided to go with what his 2 stars wanted and told him they could make work.

This is completely on Lebron. He and Westbrook are friends and he thought he could get his friend a ring.

Most people know James and AD went to Pelinka and said do it.

Maybe, but when you are talking 3 to 4 years in the future it’s part of the conversation.

lol

Maybe he'll be the roster change?
Either he or the GM won’t be there next year. Even Pasta can figure out why he was praising other GMs the other day, to Slam the GM. The problem with him doing that is they traded away anyone they drafted to try to make him happy in the first place.

Then he should be a real GM and do his job. You obviously consult with Lebron but he needs bigger balls like Pat

Plus all of that are rumors. I heard SAC wasn’t fully in on the deal. You cant put the major fault on LBJ in the end. The FO laid an egg….again

Holy shit the Lakers could have gotten Hield? Glad that didn't happen. :heh:

Rich Paul sounds like the type of dude who would eat ass, but get grossed out if part of his banana was rotten.
