What's Bronny right now? A Jr/Sr in HS?

I wouldn't waste a 1st round on Bronny just to lure Lebron to my team. Especially if Bronny's slated to be a 2nd round pick. That's a lot to give up if you're really only going to get a year of a potential 40-year old Lebron.

He's a junior and right now, is projected as a 2nd round pick.

Wrong.
But then again....you pretty much always are.

Here are the five states that lost the most people from July 2020-21:

1. New York had a numeric decline of 319,020.

2. California had a numeric decline of 261,902.

Right, but then again i pretty much always am.

To get Russ there?

Absolutely.

Matter of fact, like he tried to do with Dame, but was rebuffed, he set the shit in motion by having a meeting at his house.

Pelinka was ready to pull the trigger on Buddy. But, bent to his stars whim on Westbrook.

Via report from LA Times’ Broderick Turner:

That's where I don't get all of the shit that gets thrown at Pelinka. He did what basically every GM who gets Lebron. or really any superstar does, and did what was needed to make him happy.

Pelinka had the right trade set up, but Lebron and AD met with Russ and the 3 of them went to Pelinka and said they could make it work. You can make a case that maybe Pelinka should have ignored them, but what GM is doing that in today's league?

I'm glad Pelinka stood up to them on the Wall trade and I'm not convinced that he's the one lying about it. Considering that Lebron recruited Westbrook to the Lakers and then wanted him traded halfway through the season...perhaps Pelinka was trying to run interference for Lebron since it was Lebron who suddenly decided that he wanted Westbrook gone halfway through the season and with he, AD and Westbrook having played fewer than 20 games together.

I'm not a LeBron hater.

I've always loved his game and what he does for his community.

As much as it makes me want to puke, I'm on the Lakers side here.

You don't compound a mistake by doubling down on the stupid.

But, I get @Wamu point about Pelinka and his lies.

I doubt very seriously that LeBron was on board doing nothing.

Still, Klutch is just using that as an excuse to possibly leave.

The question I'd liked answered is if LeBron didn't agree with that the Lakers did, or didn't do, why would Pelinka put a statement out like that? His credibility took another hit.

I'm not convinced Pelinka is the one lying...and if he is, it may have been an attempt to save Lebron from his own stupidity since I can't think of anyone other than Lebron who thought Wall for Westbrook and a first was a good idea.

The 75th anniversary team.

Why did Melo make the cut (22.6, 6.2, 2.7 & .447 FG%) but Alex English (21.5, 5.5, 3.6, .507 FG% & scored more points in the 80's than anyone else) didn't?
If social media was around, or a thing back then like it is today, we’d more than likely be seeing a much different all NBA 75th anniversary roster imho.

Time for someone to call Lebron's bluff.

He's upset they didn't use a 1st to get Wall?

Trade his ass.

How would they even do that? They need an offsetting amount of salary

lol

Agents and GM's lie? This is my shocked face.

The only reason anyone gives half a shit about the Heath Ledger thing is because it's the Lakers.

If Klutch wants to leave...cool. The Lakers got their title and I don't think most Lakers fans figured on him being a Laker past next year anyway.

If I'm Pelinka, I would seriously consider approaching Jeanie with trading Lebron in the off-season and maybe AD too. Get what they can in players and picks, deal with 1 more year of Westbrook (or trade him too if possible) and use the cap space and possible draft picks for a hopefully fast rebuild.

No, the lying part about LeBron being onboard with not making moves.

I doubt very seriously that he was okay with that and Rob shouldn't have said that.

Klutch is trying to use that as the catalyst for his unhappiness.

The Los Angeles Lakers might have to trade for LeBron James this summer. James has rather clearly been offended by Lakers’ management twice over the past two weeks. First when it elected not to make a deal before the Feb. 10 trade deadline after he had both publicly and privately prodded for something. More accurately, he expected it. And second when Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka stepped over the line when he announced James was on board with the status quo; a source told ESPN there was no prior sign-off from James.
