It’s when you type multiple posts and provide multiple layers of a point of view but somehow the conversation ends up revolving around one thing you said removed from the context in which you said it. And then it goes on to dominate like pages of the thread. Some one has to nip it in the bud before it hurtles headlong down that path.
Often one gets Clevelanded when he talks out of both sides of his mouth and tries to move the goal posts as you did here.

The whole thing was orchestrated by Lebron, AD and Russ with a sign off by Melo. I’d bet heavily on that.
And that’s my biggest issue here. You don’t get to blame others for moves you were down with in the first place. And you don’t get to be mad when you want to undo the first bad move with another bad move. Shit, LeBron’s recent comments about Brony essentially say he’s not a Laker forever. He can move on while the Lakers organization will have to deal with the aftermath of what they created for LeBron (AD trade; Russ trade).

The game itself was entertaining. And you missed Steph putting on a shooting clinic.
Yeah I did read about his mvp record setting all star game 3 pt barrage, and watched some of the highlights of it all. Looked like the weekend went nicely in Cleveland even with a less than spectacular slam dunk contest, but good for Obi Toppin nonetheless.

To get Russ there?

Absolutely.

Matter of fact, like he tried to do with Dame, but was rebuffed, he set the shit in motion by having a meeting at his house.

Pelinka was ready to pull the trigger on Buddy. But, bent to his stars whim on Westbrook.

Via report from LA Times’ Broderick Turner:

About two weeks ago, Russell Westbrook went to LeBron James’ home and together they and Anthony Davis had a conversation about the All-Star guard joining James and Davis on the Lakers.
They talked about putting their egos aside and playing as one in their quest to bring the Lakers another NBA championship. Westbrook talked about how his only intention was winning and coming back home to Los Angeles to become a champion

Say what you want about the Heat.

Riley did not let this guy run roughshod over the franchise.

For the next All-Star game, I would rather see a celebrity three point contest.

Maybe have known rivals compete for their charities.
Musicians with grudges.
Maybe have politicians involved.
Pros from other sports.

I would find it more entertaining watching folks who think they know how to shoot actually try to shoot.
Just no more dunk comtests.

Can any of what Lebron is doing now re: his son, be perceived as tampering somehow? It seems as if he’s trying to orchestrate and manipulate certain scenarios to happen.
Probably not.

But, Bronny doesn't look like a legit NBA player to me.......YET.

When we watched the Ball bros circus, it was clear Lamelo was the most talented and had a great chance of making it.

I don't see that with Bronny...... YET.

What LeBron is doing, is the same as Lavar.

Lavar tried to get Gelo drafted by saying all 3 were a package deal.

But, that's not how rookie deals work.

LeBron can actually make this happen by not extending and becoming a free agent.

The LeBron farewell tour could make a Shit franchise a ton of money because every game could be televised.

Bronny is projected as a 2nd round pick.
But, it might be interesting to see a playoff team with a late 1st rounder take Bronny just so they can get LeBron.

So long as LBJ is a free agent when the draft comes along, I don't see any issues here.

Yeah, Pelinka is really slimmy for that Kobe story.

That is a disgusting lie.

Looks like he's at it again.

The question I'd liked answered is if LeBron didn't agree with that the Lakers did, or didn't do, why would Pelinka put a statement out like that? His credibility took another hit.

Yeah.

Because he's a known liar, it isn't unreasonable to believe he's at it again.

I'm not even willing to give him the benefit of the doubt to say he misspoke.

If LeBron said "I want changes ' and Rob said " Sorry, I'm not mortgaging anymore of the future'....

That's not LeBron being onboard..... Lol

The 75th anniversary team.

Why did Melo make the cut (22.6, 6.2, 2.7 & .447 FG%) but Alex English (21.5, 5.5, 3.6, .507 FG% & scored more points in the 80's than anyone else) didn't?

Yes...also liked they kept Allen in crunchtime to play D and he got a huge block of Embiid.

Overall I thought Cavs players and city represented well.
That's the thing I like most about the Fro.

He has no fear.

If he catches a poster, so be it.

He's unafraid.
