Harden and Embiid on the court at the same time is gonna be the "Flop Brothers".Yep I hate watching him play. I may hate watching him more than Harden at this point

The dude has lost a shit ton of respect in the last 2 yearsFacts
wait wait
this music is much better. LOL
As a Suns fan it’s Hard to get behind this, but they are really playing like the best team.Suns though....I mean damn, on a 68 win pace
Gotta hope it's not a Utah-style regular season look that is different in the playoffs, but they play D which translates and they went deep last year. I wouldn't necessarily favor the Nets all 3 vs them.As a Suns fan it’s Hard to get behind this, but they are really playing like the best team.
They play like a team. Hopefully that’s the difference. Either way, the Warriors are the bigger challenge IMO.Gotta hope it's not a Utah-style regular season look that is different in the playoffs, but they play D which translates and they went deep last year. It's a mystery...it's just assumed the Nets with their new big 3 all healthy and playing are so great but really we don't know. And similarly on paper a fully healthy Warriors team with Draymond and Iggy back and Wiseman giving backup big minutes, and Klay all right, etc...that team looks great too and they did win a lot this year...but we really don't know how it'll be come playoff time. They play like a team. Cavs defense hasn’t played much better. They need a much needed break and then hopefully Markkannen will be back. Defense was pathetic last nightThe way the Warriors' banged up D looking lately, Jokic gonna feast tomorrow night I fear
Last 8 games they are like 21st in defensive rating (were 1st most of the year)
Agreed. There really shouldn’t be too many playoff minutes available for Korkmaz and Milton ( I hope). The Sixers problem is they have defensive pieces and offensive pieces but they aren’t the same guy. The only 2 way player on the team right now is Embiid. I’m hoping they can figure out a system that filters things to Embiid similarly to the way the Jazz use Gobert. What Harden should afford them is making their offense less Jo dependent so that he can get back to dominating on defense. He’s been mentioned in DPOTY odds and conversation but that’s been mostly reputation this year and it makes sense. He hasn’t been a dog defensively or anything. He has just had to carry so much of the offensive load. Instead of averaging 35 and 8 they need an Embiid who gets 25 and 14.Yes, the Celtics shot lights-out tonight in a way that isn't sustainable...
... that being said, it's no accident that it happened against a team like the 76ers.
Philly has oodles of bad perimeter defenders getting minutes.. Maxey, Harris, Milton, Niang, Korkmaz... the '6ers better outscore teams, because line-ups featuring these guys are gonna get abused.
James Harden isn't gonna make the problem any better...
Thanks.... But tip of the cap to your Celtics. They are night and day from when Sixers saw them in the beginning of the year. The ball moves again on offense and that was apparent last night. I’ll admit I’ve been sleeping on your Celtics being in the mix with the top of the East. I see them as being every bit as dangerous as the Heat Cavs and Bulls with Nets and Bucks being that top top tier of favorite.
I liked the Celtics plan on Embiid last night. Most teams want to protect their fouls and foul anyway because he’s a physical freak who knows how to draw contact now. But the Cs were relentless and it had him shooting a poor percentage. I don’t think Doc helps him at all by creating screens for an easy catch and post. My one hope last night watching was “this is exactly why they got Harden”. Because they can’t employ that attack last night with the threat of Harden/ Harris pick and roll on the floor.Thanks.
Obviously, the Celtics do not shoot like that every night.
Outside shooting is the main limitation holding the Celtics back from being a top contender.
But defense tends to show up more consistently and travel well... and Boston finally seems to have rounded into form on that end.

Anywho, Philly vs. Boston is a great match-up. Not only do the 2 teams and fan-bases not like each other... it's an intriguing contrast on the court:
That contrast is a good watch most nights... each team's strength going right at the weakness of the other.
- Do the Celtics have enough size to slow down Embiid?
- Do the '6ers have enough perimeter defenders to slow down the Celtics wings?
