Haven't seen the in-game comments yet but thinking you may have blown a gasket?

Truth be told, I kind of wish Garland would sell a hit (even when barely touched) like Trae does...he's got some soccer player in him.
Would have been mad if they deserved to win, they didn’t after that defensive performance

Willing to bet he's not very thorough in his anti-China rhetoric. How many Apple products does he own?
I’d be willing to bet he is pretty thorough with it

Looks like the Spurs and Dragic have reached a buyout agreement.

Tyrese Haliburton has good genes. His cousin is Eddie Jones, such a humble guy in spite of spending most his career with the Lakers and the Heat. Not likely one is able to use the word “humble” in association with those two franchises. :heh:

Now that all the games are complete before the All Star Break- what "first half" grade would you give to your team, and other notable, and forum relevant teams?

EAST

Nets: B disappointing record but made a good trade. If Kyrie can play they will be tough to beat. Durant is the best basketball player on the planet. Simmons should be ready to go soon and he fits very well with Kyrie and Durant. Mills has been a great low cost add.

Heat: A- cannot ask for much more from them than currently first in the East. Did not add anything at the deadline while their competitors did so no full A as their "win now" roster is prob. 4th best in the East. Bam is back healthy and seems more aggressive. Lowry has been solid. Herro has taken a big step. Butler playing great when he can play.

Bucks: B have underachieved thus far, but did nice to secure some depth if Lopez does not come back/comes back too late to get into it. Still have Giannis, Middleton and Holiday as one of the best Big 3 in the game. Giannis seems to just keep getting better.

Wizards: D- what started out so hopeful has crashed and burned. Dinwiddie deal was a disaster. At least they dealt him and another mistake- Bertains- for Porzingis who might be a decent fit. If Beal leaves they will have missed a MASSIVE opportunity to lay a future foundation.

Sixers: A Embiid is the MVP. Maxey has taken big steps. They settled the Simmons discussion by getting Harden- when even a month or two ago there was discussion that they would no way be able to get a top 25 guy for Simmons anymore.

Cavaliers: A Even with injuries to Rubio and Sexton they have massively overachieved. Mobley has been amazing and everything you could hope for and then some. Garland has taken a huge step in development. Love and Osman have had great bounce back years. No team in the NBA, besides maybe Memphis, has clearly outperformed expectations. The team has TWO all stars AND TWO guys in the Rising Stars game.

those are a few--- anyone else got anything? comments? Pacers, Bulls, Hawks? The West?

Lakers vs Jazz tonight.

AD dominates Gobert. Davis averages 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks against him and the last time he played vs Gobert he went for 42 points and 12 boards.

I have a feeling the Dubs front office will regret not signing DeMarcus Cousins or another available Big to a 10 day contract or 2.
James Wiseman is slowly working his way back, and that's a good thing no doubt, but he likely won't be close to being in NBA game shape to bang down low with most other Bigs who've been playing at a high level for the last 5 months.
But I hope he proves me wrong when he returns and gets consistent minutes and positive production in the coming weeks.
Dubs are eventually gonna need more front court help for Looney, Bjelica and Draymond come playoff time.

So…

Does this mean you think the Wizards are relevant?
Relevant to me since I enjoy watching them suck.

do you think Beal walks?

and is that better than giving him 50 million a year for 5 years?

I seriously cannot even comprehend why they would not deal him.

I have read an article or two that was discussing the "fun max" which is the first max--- only 25% of the cap.....

and then the not-so-fun max--- the big max that can be 35% PLUS annual raises that accrue over years.......

some guys are no doubt Big Max guys- without a 2nd thought.

then you get into a Bradley Beal and your like....hmmm......maybe trade him to a sucker for some good assets.

Beal is gonna be really good- dont get me wrong--- but is it good for your team - when you dont have a contender- to give the guy 50 million a year for 5 years?

i dont know.
