Man, I have to teach the last of 4 SAT classes today 3-6 and will miss Sixers Bulls. FML. I need to hire better help. Nobody else wanted to work this class so I had to step up. Missed a bunch of NFL playoff games and now missing a compelling Sixers Sunday afternoon spot. Boooooooooo!

I do get what you are saying. I agree it is one of the worst calls I have ever seen at the pro level.

I just don’t agree with your assessment of judgement on the officials.

And maybe I am jaded because I see some truly bad officiating at the high school level. And that call would fit right in at that level.

When was the last time you watched an ordinary high school game?

I have seen some shit in my day. What makes it so terrible is the availability of replay so that everyone knows the truth of what happened.

Horrible calls happen all the time at lower levels.

I really like the potential of Davion Mitchell.

He and Simmons would be a lockdown backcourt duo.

But, where would they get points?

yah- as good as the CAvs are playing- and as much of a big step forward I think they have made---- between the youth of the team, and the injuries to Sexton and Rubio (and now Markkanen and Garland)- I dont have a lot of confidence they stay where they are at

Boston, Charlotte, Toronto are all built more for now than the Cavs- and are more healthy

now if the Cavs make a move - maybe that changes--- but the youth of the team and the injuries makes me think that they arent like top 4 where they are at now.

Garland is 22, Okoro 21, Markkanen 24, Allen 24, Mobley 20.......thats the core. Such a young team.

Pretty cool they have this core of Garland, Allen and Mobley- who all have all star upside or are already there---- and then some good young guys like Okoro and Markkenen behind them.

plus- they have some extra picks- and there own picks- an really- not like they need their picks. with so many young guys. They can move some of those to fill some gaps- though you always want cheap young talent.

No doubt if Garland misses a lot of time and no LM any time soon we could be forced into a play in situation. However, hard to just dismiss how well we played with everyone but Sexton/Rubio playing against what was still a pretty tough schedule for a while.

No doubt another scorer/playmaker in the backcourt would help when it comes to this season.

If the price is right, go get Levert.

Even if they fall in the standings, just making the playoffs and putting up a good fight is a dream Season.

Nobody expected you to be playing for anything other than ping pong balls. The only thing that can derail your Season is inexperience and injuries.

The Cavs are waaay ahead of schedule.

The last time was right before Covid, but before then was going to nearly all the home games when daughter was a cheerleader and the 2 years after she left (so for 4 years).

Never saw anything close to being as unexplainable as that call. This was beyond just a "horrible call". This was not a obvious travel or foul that was missed or even calling a foul when the guy was not touched. This was a ref calling a guy with the ball in his hands OOB, that ball being passed to another player while guys were goofing around and a practice shot being taken....and that shot counting.

Want to say they still might have scored anyway? No disagreement, but in HS or even rec basketball I've never seen anything I could compare to that.
