Yeah I saw that, even more motive to get LeVert. They have the option to pay either LeVert or Sexton and would have LeVert as an expiring next season. Still doesn’t mean Sexton could take the QO or a shorter deal at a more team friendly price bc he was hurt but idk scared now haha. Klutch gets you paid

I mean Gobert is a freak but I would take Bam, Allen and Mobley defensively over him bc of their ability to guard the perimeter and that doesn’t mean Gobert is bad at it but those guys can be elite at it. No homer

It’s different skill sets inside of two entirely different defensive concepts. Rudy is just as much a product of scheme as it is his talents. They filter everything to him when they’re playing good defense and he cleans up and rebounds. It limits Utah on switches but with that rim presence it seems like they don’t mind getting broken down with Rudy lurking.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't charlotte going to have the ball anyway? We don't know what would have happened on that possession. Charlotte very well could have scored there so we are talking about a 1-2 point difference possibly.

Idk man I think Fox is overrated. Fox would just seem like another Kemsba, Kyrie, Fox black hole. I am feeling less and less confident about Fox. If I was Sac I would ship him for Sabonis and keep Haliburton. Then try to get some assets for Hield or Barnes. Start over with Sabonis/Haliburton

Yep and with the smaller NBA, these guys are needed more than someone who is primarily a rim protector. You go small and Gobert almost becomes useless on defense late in games as we saw the Clippers do last year. Doesn't mean he's bad or anything. Top 25 player for sure

You STILL don’t get it, AT ALL. The Cavs winning the game has nothing to do with how awful that call was. The fact is it was the worst call in the history of the NBA, at least dead ball call. It’s more about the punishment of the refs, fined or suspended is the only justification. I could give a rats ass what team won the game, makeup call, etc.
I dont give a shit if they have a tough job, they get paid good for doing their job and they make mistakes but this is only mistake that is inexcusable. You trying to make an justification is more about your beef with Wiggy/Cavs more than anything, it is affecting your judgment. Don’t let it get to you, it’s just one fan that doesn’t like you.

I hope we never have to talk about a call like this again bc this ruins the game for fans and players.

I happen to disagree with one aspect of this.....I do not think it's his beef with Cavs/wiggy. I think it's more his heels are dug in on refs and he feels he has to make excuses for any mistake they make.

I happen to agree with him on his stance on refs in the sense they get criticized way too much, fans blame them for losses too often and, yes, it is an incredibly tough job (especially NFL). But no excuse for a call like that one as it's one none of us have ever seen nor likely will see again.

Agree, so they could use LeVert as a 6th man but he can still play minutes with Garland. At least Garland and Sexton are good dudes and all for the team guys but

I wouldn't say he is overrated but he did take a step back this year. Good player but I don't see star player. 3rd option on a title contending team would be best for him IMO
