UVA almost certainly doesn’t win the title (they actually lost to auburn with that double dribble despite not having okeke) and that dude probably goes to minny at 6 at the very least.

Okeke was solid his first year despite the major injury. The dominos are fun

I don't know who the fuck this Jay Huff is the Lakers just signed on a 2-way, but he's going to be the next Kareem!!!!

Jay Huff is a former UVA player.

I can tell you from watching every game of his in college that he isn’t going to amount to anything in the league.

He has a tantalizing skill set. He can shoot, he looks athletic as hell at certain times and he can block shots.

But, he is incredibly soft with the ball and he makes a ton of mistakes constantly.

He had multiple DNPs his junior year when UVA won the ship even though he was the most talented big on the roster.

And I was always begging for Huff to play more minutes at UVA.

I'll take him considering what's available and its a position they could use but when you factor in the fact that the Dubs, also a team that needs his theoretical skillset waived him, its a pretty clear indicator he's 99% washed

Like I said yesterday, dude isn't a max level player and the Suns are smart not to pay him like he is. Their offer is more than fair.

Are you saying he should have taken one of the 3 or 4 year max that was offered? If so, I agree.

I don't see anyone else offering him a max level deal. He may have wanted a 5 year deal, but would have been smarter, imo, if he grabbed one of the shorter deals they offered...

Best case...he shows he's actually worth a max deal and gets signed to another max deal for possibly even more per year.

Worst case...he shows he's not worth a max deal, his next contract is smaller, but he got those 3 or 4 years worth of max money. Similar to Tristan Thompson (although, if memory serves, TT got his 5 years).

Cowherd made a pretty good point about what could help the Lakers. He said that among the top teams, they and the Bucks are the 2 teams least likely to "implode". He said the Nets have the Kyrie situation, the Sixers have Ben, the Clips don't know when Kawhi will be back (if he comes back this year) and the Warriors don't really know what Klay and Dray have left or if they will ever get anything out of Wiseman.

He said Lebron teams tend not to implode.

He has Lakers/Bucks in the finals.

Green and Curry asked to keep him and management said " we'd rather have dollar tree version of the Glove".

Getting cut so that can keep GPII for his DEFENSE is all I need to know.
