Many teams have already done so themselves. Lakers, for one, were expected to be completely vaccinated by the season start.

Not because of a mandate. In fact, in the vaccination mandate that's supposed to start in LA at the end of November...Staples is exempt.

My GAWD First Take is even more unwatchable with Michael Irvin and Screamin A.

They are not going to be happy when Irvin strokes out on live television.

I have yet to watch first take on a monday since the change was made. I only watch tue-thu for nba topics

SEASON STARTS TOMORROW!!!!

My prediction is that the Lakers will lose this one. Hope I'm wrong though.'

They'll get off to a great start, couple of flashy passes and alley-oops, then the Warriors will take the lead halfway through the 2nd quarter, extend the lead in the 3rd, Lakers bring it back to single digits at the start of the 4th but it will be too little too late.

Again, I hope I'm wrong, but it was pretty much the formula for most of their games last season.

Lmaoo the suns man

I thought Sarver said he learned from lowballing Joe Johnson when he was a restricted free agent.

"I beat myself up about that one because we were in a position where that piece could have helped us probably extend our chance to run for a longer period of time," Sarver said.

Ayton wants a max deal. He's not a max level player.

They’re not going to get anyone else. It is Phoenix after all. If they don’t pay him, passing on Doncic looks even worse than before.

Or don’t pay him. Watch him leave, and return to the NBA purgatory.

The disrespect. Sarver is such a bastard. They make the Finals and he's like "Ok, fans. There you go. We're good for another 2 decades. Gotta watch the purse strings now"

Meh, I don't know. I think they could get someone else or maybe a couple of someone else's. I just don't like paying max money for non-max players.

Imo, last year was a bit of a fluke for the Suns that they are unlikely to repeat, especially if they start overpaying.

It's kind of a tough spot to be in, Sarver is a cheap bastard, but he's also right to not overpay Ayton, imo.

But, because he's a cheap bastard, he's also not likely to use that money to go after a player who is worth a max deal.

Sarver makes me glad that the Suns are only my 2nd favorite team. :heh:

There's 5-10 max level players in basketball. Bad business in Phoenix

Yeah and Ayton ain't one of them.

But, the problem in Phoenix is that Sarver is unlikely to use the money on someone who is.
