Dallas retired Nowitzki's #41 Mavs Jersey earlier tonight.....

Hopefully.
And fwiw, I'm not calling for the guys job...only some clarification and the head office's intervention to do the right thing here.
I really don't even know if he's actually a G league official who got called up to the NBA for a short stint as a temporary replacement on an emergency basis due to possible covid/omicron protocols.....or if he is in fact merely just a "rookie" ref.
I think things may have been a bit worse if Miami had ended up losing that game...but they won..so that should lessen the blow somewhat.
That said: I hold the belief that the best refs, officials, judges & umpires in any sport are usually the ones you never hear about, and also the ones who just go about the business of being fair & impartial arbiters of the sport they happen to work in. Not the ones who go out of their way to make a name for themselves via ego, controversy, bias, or confrontation.
He's also a pretty decent passer and a good screen setter. He can still score but he can’t do anything else
Unacceptable comment
I can only hope he's referring to his dad playing hoops
Yeah they really need jamal Murray back. The Nuggets and Jazz are weird teams every year they do great things in the regular season then get bounced in the 2nd round of playoffs.I think the Nets even with an away Kyrie will be hard to beat for the finals. Predicting a Nets vs either Phoenix or GS final.'
Also Denver is terrible. Jokic has to put up godlike numbers for them to win. hell he was close to a 20/20/20 game and they still lost. That backcourt is the worst in the NBA for Denver
There should be.
BOOM.Man.
Sometimes I really do wish that your job was a public one so that we could ridicule you every time you make a mistake.
It is actually very complicated. Guy makes 1 mistake and you assume he is “bad at his job”.
Guess what? If he actually is bad at it, he won’t be doing it for long. But 1 mistake in a random regular season game does not define someone’s career or their value.
And rebound, 6 in 15mpg equivalates to 12 in 30mpg.He's also a pretty decent passer and a good screen setter.
Wonder if the Dubs take a chance on him again?
There should be.
Averaging 9ppg and 6rpg off the bench in about 15mpg.
As a starter sure.....but as somebody off the bench for 15mpg.....he'll be fine.Cousins is always going to be able to post stats.
But he can’t move and his defense is atrocious due to the injuries.
He probably will get a shot somewhere, but his days of being a difference maker are long gone. Might Jr not even be a positive contributor at this point.
He's gotta have some kind of minor injury he's playing through. Time for some load management.
Nope, he is washed. Your only chance is to hope you can somehow convince the Lakers to trade Westbrook for him.
