Yeah it would be interesting to see what they were offering. Grant is off the table, Cavs don't need him.

Bey and a 1st? @Stakesarehigh lol

All that being said, I feel confident Collin with stay with the Cavs. He said he wants to be in Cleveland.

That would be a pretty big overpay for an impending RFA who Cleveland would only be trading because they don’t want to give him a huge contract.

The long term deal Sexton will inevitably sign has to be factored into his trade value, making it not very high.

Oh, he's a Jokic fanboy?
Nah, I used to listen to his podcast and it’s become like a damn math problem. They’re rolling out acronym after acronym for this advanced stat and that advanced stat. It’s just not basketball talk. I don’t have respect for the BBall IQ he brings.

JJ Reddick could be a good basketball commentator if he really decided to sell out on it. He's knowledgeable and also willing to call people out.

He’s going to look good in Sixers colors once Doc moves to the Lakers!

He did commentary for one of ESPN games this year and was pretty darn solid at it. It was almost like how Tony Romo was when he first started out calling NFL games where he'd call out things before they happened and explained why

What should OKC do different?

Strive to be mediocre like the Kings or Knicks or go all in and embrace the tank like the 76ers?

At least don't publicly announce that you are tanking? Don't bench your entire starting 5 down the stretch for fake injury reasons? That old golden rule that "players don't tank, just the front office" is side-stepped by benching your best players lol.

76ers were penalized and their GM forced out for their tanking. That should extend to all tanking franchises.

I guess I'm old fashioned, but I feel teams should strive to win games for their paying fans. Now, if OKC (AND HOUSTON) want to drastically discount their tickets or sell them only to fans of the opposing teams that actually are trying, then tanking takes a bit of a different slant.

Would he be like Romo and become an intolerable asshat given enough opportunity though?

Good for Jay, leave on his own terms. Have always respected his coaching, always had his teams performing at top level.

Now, the Beal for Lebron trade, just lol. Like he's going to accept a trade to the Whizzinators?

Not sure if you guys have discussed this, but are you aware that CP3 has now lost the last 14 playoff games officiated by Scott Foster? I need to start laying bets on this, it's wild. How has the NBA not investigated this?

Because Foster actually calls accurate fouls on CP3. One of the dirtiest players in the league.

I had to lol at the Jay Wright one too because, I believe it was during the Sixers/Raptors game, after his retirement was confirmed, literally the first thing one of the commentators said was "Could Jay Wright be headed to LA?"

Assuming if the deal is made it's because Detroit knows what they want to pay him and a deal is in place.

One factor, though, is would Sexton agree to go to Detroit? Isn't to say he wouldn't....especially if no one else was making a significant offer (or the Cavs were not).

Well LeBron wants to play for Cleveland in two seasons so he can play with his son. Why not play with Wizards and clue the Wiz into drafting his son? The Lakers get Beal and two first round picks. If I were Pelinka (and I am not), I'd do that deal like yesterday if it is legitimate. Then I'd take the cap savings and re-sign Monk.
