Statistically speaking, he wasn't THAT bad. Other than free throw shooting his numbers were more or less on par with those he's put up throughout his career.

But he had misses and turnovers that I haven't seen in rec league games. lol

That’s interesting. Even a casual fan of basketball would know that Russ has had a poor season and yet you say that his stats from this season are on par with past seasons? Hmmmm…it’s almost as if statistical analysis doesn’t really tell the whole story. Interesting.

Russ is what he is at this point. If he's not turning the ball over then he isn't playing aggressive as i would like

The turnovers are to be expected to a certain extent. The amount of time he has the ball in his hands would see to that. Magic was the greatest PG that ever lived and he turned the ball over a lot. But some of Russ' turnovers were just amazingly, never seen that in an NBA game before level turnovers. lol

Well, with a bit of luck he won't be on the team next season either.

It's a shame, I like him as a player, he just doesn't fit with this team.

The things he can do can still be impressive, like pushing the ball in transition, slashing to the rim, etc. It just didn't outweigh his absent jumper and the turnovers in this fit.

The two-faced nature of the press is amazing. All we heard all year is how weak Vogel is, he should be fired, etc etc. Now that they've dumped him (the early leak was unfortunate), now its the wrong thing to do. Just like Chuck saying they suck all year, just to turn around and blame all different people now. Enjoy the piling on, but at least be consistent lol.
