And only in the celtics game they had a full squad. You can only judge them at this point in games where Kyrie and KD played. Even the Memphis game, they were without seth and goran

I just don't get why everyone is expecting this team to suddenly turn it on, when they haven't done it yet, and they are going to have a very hard road. Right now they are the 9 seed, not even the top team possibly coming out of the play-in!

Make sure the sixers play them in round 1 and get back to me

Yeah. Now the #1 seed.

For now.

That speaks more to the descent of the Nets IMO. If KG stays healthy all season, Kyrie's full-time return now would likely be just bolstering the team for their playoff run from the 1 seed. The congestion at the top of the East defines the lack of a top team in the conference. 3 West teams have better records than the top East seed, and the Mavs could make it 4.

My guess, like I said, is that Philly will be 2-3 seed in the end. I think Milwaukee or Boston probably gets the top seed. So that scenario is certainly possible, if Philly ends up the 2 seed and Brooklyn wins its play-in series, etc.

So that would of course be a tough early series for anyone to play the Nets in the first round. But from the Nets perspective, to expect them to win the play-in, then beat a top seed in the first round, then advance two more rounds as a road dog...kind of a heavy lift is all I am saying. It would be a historic accomplishment to make it through a pretty competitive Eastern Conference in that fashion.

Cavs have run outta gas.

and LeVert has been a huge dissapointment

I wouldnt be against trading him and just signing Sexton. At least Sexton makes shots.
I still think we might see how everyone looks together after resigning sexton and maybe bringing back Rubio?

Has to be serious doubts about Cleveland making the playoffs now. Not sure they beat ATL/CHA in a win and in situation
It's sure far from a lock.

I still hope we make it but play in not a bad scenario. The key was always that this team needs playoff experience. Not much better than the play in as likely starts with a win and get in game then possibly a win or go home game (equiv. to a Game 7). Just make the playoffs and may not get anything like that if we lost, say, 4-0 or 4-1.

Plus, could get those 1-2 games and still make the playoffs. Worse case is don't and keep our pick.

Did what we always seem to do lately. Fall behind early. Go into half down a bunch. come back and make a game of it...unfortunately too many ending in an L.
Young Team with injuries.

Not how I wanted things to go for the Cavs.

Still a very positive Season.

If you get Allen back and Caris gives you anything, you are going to the playoffs.

Their “Super Bowl” was All Star weekend. They celebrated like they already did something. Young team plus injuries. The season is a grind. That’s why it’s so impressive what Memphis is doing.
I mean, they had done something as far as being a top story of the first half. I'd say where we are under the circumstances is still pretty impressive in year 4 of a rebuild

But, yeah. Memphis has been very impressive.

Has any team in the EC had players miss more games to due injuries this season than the Cavs?

No matter how this season ends it's been a successful one.

Their future should be bright.

And your avatar is hilarious.
