Lebron's 4 Lakers Seasons:

1st - No playoffs, losing record

2nd - Chip

3rd - play-in, first round out

4th - losing season, play-in is in jeopardy

.......and it's not his fault.

Not sure what else the guy can do.

He's to old to play sustainable defense.

But, he's giving all he has on the other end.

They just aren't a good team.

I mean, who cares? (from a bigger perspective). They brought in Bron to win a title....

year 2 is all that matters for both his signing and the Brow trade.

Anything else after the Bubble Ring is gravy.

But Brow's inability to stay healthy is the #1 reason they haven't achieved more.

This westbrook trade is #2.

They need to Zinger his deal next season and get some smaller more manageable deals.

Oh, absolutely.

No matter what happens they won a chip.

So, it's worth it.

I'm looking at it from a LeBron specific angle.

I despise the Lakers.

But, he is the 2nd best player in basketball History.

Sucks if this is how his prime ends.

They will have 2 firsts and russ’s expiring deal to work with.

They also need THt to revive his value.

Him and nunn can them be moved for…a better fit

I'd do something like Westbrook and a 1st for Wall and Christian Wood.

But, not 2 picks.

Unless it's for a Beal or Lillard level player, keep the picks and have a max money slot in 2024.

Very true.

It's just hard to punt NEXT year as well if you keep Russ.

But if you are looking for cap space in summer of 2024, you can turn russ's expiring deal into some non-expiring money next TD (in theory).

Agree.

The problem with not punting is finding a team that can take in his salary without sending back a bad contract.

Like, you can get Wood because Wall's salary is just as bad.

What other team would be willing to give them something of value that has space to take in that deal?

People keep saying the Knicks.

Sure.

That would be a huge win for New York because the Lakers would be stuck with a few years of Fournier and still be a fringe playoff team.

It's LA.

Have max money, somebody will take it.

Yeah it's Kemba and fournier plus some other deals.

I mean Fournier is a great fit next to Bron and Brow.

But that contract is yeesh.

How can they move THT's deal?

And if you're lookign for summer 2024 cap space, can you get monk to accept 2 years?

LOL.

Lebron hurt his ankle in the game and now its swelling up and hurts bad.

They were already fucked. They are so triple fucked now.

I told you guys he's gonna break down carrying this trash ass team. Just shut him down before he pops an achilles like Kobe and is never the same. It ain't worth it to make the fucking play in. Not like they can win 2 games in a row anyway with that shit roster and coach

Truth. ^

Sorry, bro.

Shit happens.
Not their year by any stretch, that's for damn sure.
Just play out the schedule with some of the younger guys and reload for next season.

I feel the same way about my Knicks....and have for weeks.

The east is wild. The top 4 teams are either 47-28 or 46-28 right now. Boston has been playing the best but I still think Milwaukee might emerge as the top seed.

Big game Tuesday night. I think the Sixers need 7-1 in their last 8 to get the number 1 seed.
