Honestly don't expect much of anything to happen before the lockout. Just hope MLB isn't stupid enough to let the impasse linger. Popularity has already dropped considerably over the last decade, the absolute worst thing they could do is lose part of the season.

The mariners are in a weird situation with their lineup. Apparently they like Ty France at first but we still have Evan White in which we are still paying that should be coming back from his hip surgery. There was a report that he is trying to see if he can play LF but the OF is a little crowded with Kelenic, Haniger and Lewis or even Rodriguez if he wants to make his debut. Then of course who would be playing DH?

If Kyle Lewis is part of the Mariners future then he needs to be the DH imo. Keep that guy out of the field as much as possible.

I dont think you should factor Lewis or White into any sort of roster building for 2022. That makes things less crowded and go from there.

White needs to spend all of 2022 in the minors imo, he hasnt even shown he can hit well at that level. I dont care what they are paying him, its a sunk cost and shouldnt be a factor.

If Lewis is healthy and you have too many of something, it will be the first time in the history of the Mariners so I wont know how to react, but lets not worry about that until it happens.

agreed..but all he has.to do..is hit..230-240....with 20-30 hrs...and he is an all..star..cuz he is a gold glove....i think he can do it
