I'm a bit worried tbh. When UW starts throwing out offers this late in the game it means they struck out on someone they planned on landing.

I'm unsure we'll land him, but I think the offer is mostly as a contingency in case Jacobe Covington doesn't come back around from his decommitment. 247's Crystal ball still leans toward Washington though for whatever that's worth. Tbh I think we still have a strong chance because I would've immediately expected him to commit to an Arizona school after reversing his UW decision.

I've heard that Jack Yary, TE, who recently de-committed from USC, has setup two official visits so far. UCLA on Dec 6th and now Washington on the 13th. So looks like we are attempting to land him again.

Oregon was originally persuing him as well, before his USC call, so I don't know if he's going to visit them too.

I'm not sure what will also happen if Helton does retain his job or a new coach is announced before early signing period.

His dad is a USC alum and played for the Vikings in the NFL for 10+ years.

Many have speculated this also has to do with USC running a very air raid heavy offense which really puts a low priority on TE play. It may have been watching what the offense has been up to this year, scheme wise, that heavily influenced his decision.

He's considered by many to be the best TE prospect on the west coast. His size projects nicely as a beast of a blocking TE. Would be a very good fit for the Huskies offense.

I didn't know this but have you guys followed how well Ethan Garbers has been playing? Here are his stats:

In 14 games he has 4,622 yards passing, 70.6% completion percentage, 66 passing touchdowns, 5 interceptions along with 378 yards rushing and 10 rushing touchdowns. Those are high school numbers but that is damn impressive.

How long until Sav'ell Smalls re-opens his recruitment? His father doesn't seem to be happy:

Looks like ND did try to work a flip on WR Jalen McMillan this week with having OC Chip Long show up at his school to watch a practice, then try to sell him on letting Kelly and him have a in-house visit.

Jalen texted him back later and said sorry, but I'm 100% solid to Washington.

He also said hes already had very solid phone call with Coach Lake on his plans for the offense and he was liking what he was hearing.
