In my observation, they are needing to bring in some high quality infielders next year. Elvis is getting older and he can't carry the load forever.

They probably do need to look at some options there. We know Gallo is a keeper and I still think Calhoun after what he did last year is a keeper. But so much else is up in the air. This team has more holes than the Cowboys defense had a few years ago.

I think we can make the outfield work but no hope for a future with the current infield. JD could not do it all at one time but I give him credit for decent pitching.

I have been thinking if they played this season, after starting ST and then shutting down, then trying to get ready for 60 games in 3 weeks, that lots of guys would come up hurt.

Well.....we should all be glad that the Rockies are leaving town. They just whooped us pretty good in 4 out of 5 games overall.

what’s really disappointing is seeing our offense get shut down by their triple A pitching staff.

Gotta admit...... I’m not a fan of all these early season off days, but can’t do anything about it.

we have off days Monday, Thursday, next Monday, and Thursday the 13th.

That’s offdays in what 4 out of the first 20 days give or take?

did Davis and Simpson forget to tell the schedule makers that we play inside now and to not give us a ton of late summer off days anymore?

Use off days to an advantage.......rest pitchers injuries extra time in batting cage etc.
