Has Wayne Simmonds watched Wayne Simmonds play the past 3 seasons?

All of his post-Philly stops have been bad, but considering two of those were two of the worst teams in the league and the other was a deadline move, someone will take a chance and pick up him up with decent minutes for the right price.

No way he gets anywhere near the $5M NJ gave him, but I don't see him going league minimum either.

Man, I'm surprised at this news because usually defense prospects who spurn the Flames for the Rangers are stand-up guys.

I wouldn't be too upset if the Flames brought back Cam Talbot, but I have a feeling he's looking for big money (and really who can blame him). Maybe the number of goalies on the market drives down the price

I was really hoping for a kind of bidding war making 2.8m for 2 years for Korpisalo much more attractive.

He honestly looked broken to me. I know he had shoulder surgery 2 years ago so maybe another year removed helps him but he's a power forward with no power. On the Devils he didn't get in front of the net, fight or throw the body and he's just not skilled enough to be productive without doing those things.
