What are your thoughts then if we took Trevon Diggs at 15?

Little high for him but he would be the 3rd CB on my big board. Fulton is 4th right now. I have Okudah, Gladney, Diggs, then Fulton, and Henderson rounds out my top-5 guys. If the Broncos took Gladney at 15 I would probably be ok with it right now. I think after the Combine when he runs a low 4.3 forty his stock will sky rocket.

Day 3 pick I like is Miami CB Trajan Bandy. Wish he had stayed though and helped himself. Probably has to go to a zone defense. Talented looked fantastic as a FR but has a lot of work to do still. I like a flyer on him if I an a zone scheme defense.

UCLA CB Darnay Holmes is gonna be a good slot CB.

Is there any DB's name Harris? Elway seems to have a fetish for that last name.

@58crash Ironically enough, Kansas top DB is Corione Harris. But he is JR to be at Kansas. Problem is, he was charges with two felonies this off-season. Weapons and drug charges.

Broncos and Rams not sending all their coaches to the combine.
Sources: Broncos, Rams cut combine attendance

I like the idea. Let them use technology to see what they want and can use the other time to study prospects and free agents.

Who says Fangio is old school? He is making changes that seems to be on the leading edge. We will see if it works.

I’m all for this . Send a few and the medical staffs. Guys running around In shorts doing 40 yard dashes they train for is a made for TV movie.

It’s a boondoggle . I wouldn’t mind going however

To me the biggest value of the combine is the interviews.

I think last year at this point Fangio was quoted as saying he thought the combine was silly because they are not actually playing football against anyone.

I see the productivity point to leave the assistants at home and have them join interviews electronically. I would think the combine is also a place where assistant coaches can market themselves around the league in preparation for their next job.

In his latest mock draft, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. projected the Broncos would select University of Houston tackle Josh Jones.

Jones, a 6-foot-5, 311-pound redshirt senior, could play several positions in Denver, according to Kiper.

"If you find you're OK at tackle then you can move a guy inside to guard," Kiper said. "We've seen that in the NFL even going back to [Hall of Famer] Jonathan Ogden. He didn't start out at left tackle, he started out at guard. With Jones, I think left tackle, right tackle, guard — he gives you that kind of versatility. … Based on the Senior Bowl practices and the great year he had at Houston, he has a grade in that mid first-round area."

I would disagree about his ability to push inside and be fine. Kind of like those that keep saying Bolles should just be pushed inside. There are some guys that cannot make that transition and at least year one with Jones being so raw I wouldn't do that.

Jones is a 2nd round talent. Be very surprised if he goes before 28
