Fox ran the 1986 Richmond race (the one where Earnhardt wrecks Waltrip in the closing laps and 4th place Kyle Petty wins under caution) in its entirety today. Sitting there watching the ending, they go to post-race interviews and then interrupt it to go to a Trump press conference that didn't start for another 5 minutes (which they could have showed the rest of the interviews). :L I know its from 30 years ago and I can look them up, but still. BOOOOOOO

Youtube has pretty much every race in full that’s more than like 5 years old. I watched the 1995 Spring race at Darlington the other day. Had a new surface and there were 22 cautions when the previous record was 5. Sterling Marlin held off Dale Earnhardt for the win. Also was the first time I saw Steve Kinser in a stock car, didn’t go so well.

Rusty Wallace and Mark Martin has a pretty cool wreck caused by Michael Waltrip

This weekend since there won’t be anything else to do, I might watch my two favorite races I attended. Never have saw the tv broadcasts. 2000 and 2001 Spring races at Atlant. Earnhardt edges Labonte in 2000. Harvick edges Gordon in 2001.

Was sitting at the finish line for both. Pretty cool for a kid. Favorite driver wins his second to last race the first year, new favorite driver wins his first race the next

They're showing Rusty's last win on FS1 right now.

Got a feeling today will be a wreckfest. Starting order was determined by random draw, and very little if any practice, and over anxious drivers from the long layoff.

But I don't care, I'm just glad something is back on.

First lap Ricky Stenhouse into the wall.

Not gonna lie, if I were to bet on the first to crash out, he would have made my short list.

With them racing at Darlington with no pratice, I would have bet on one of the rookies. But Stenhouse would have been in my next group.

Of course I am also figuring that we get a weird winner like Erik Jones or Matt DiBenditto.

I don't think those would be weird winners. Jones won Darlington last year, and quality of team is the only thing that has held Dibenedetto back.

At this point, Jimmie Johnson would be a weird winner.

I don't think we will be seeing that today. LOL.

I meant one of those races where the winner is someone that normally runs between 15th and 30th.
