I'm not real big on the interior myself but I'm not sure what you don't like about the rear end of that car.

It doesn't mesh well with the rest of the car...it's very Camaro-esque, and that mash-up makes it look like they just quit on the design.

Agreed. Totally wild! I hope the interior noise level is down.

Most likely not. For example the Porsche Cayman and Boxster are basically the same car except the Cayman has a hatch. Noise level is much higher. The last I saw on testing noise levels of the noisiest cars Cayman was 7th Boxster 24th.

Picture is too dark to judge. I’m not sure if the spoiler is standard. It looks OK in black on the Rapid Blue above.

I look at cars like that and go "Nice". But like SUVs and trucks, not my cuppa.

I don't envision any scenario where I'd own one or similar.

I agree somewhat. I think it looks busier in red because of the red-black contrast. At least they improved on the earlier 2014 Stingray rear design, or did they? Red spoiler looks better IMO.

I do think overall it looks better, but the vents look fake and the tail lights could be smooth.
And this is common with all makes and models.

The 2020 rear from an earlier preview of the car in my av is a cleaner look.

I dont know how we as a nation came to the point that the only thing we do well is be cheap.

It's not the fastest, best quality, most reliable, or best engineered. It's not the best looking, the best sounding, the best ride or the nicest interior. It's not the loudest, or quietest, not the most advanced, the best on a track or the quickest to 60 or whatever. It doesn't corner the best or stop the best or get the best gas mileage.

But fuck if it ain't cheap!
