Was gonna try to ease into this but i would say there will not be an NFL season.

MLB cant come to an agreement.
NBA has plans but a few key players have expressed some hesitation.
And even tho the NHL has playoff plans, I know that Patrick Kane has essentially said 'not so fast.'

The leagues and owners may have grandiose plans, but that doesnt mean the players will unanimously want to jump in.

Nascar is doing fine with the why they are running. No hold outs until this new rule.

MLB the disagreement is how much should the players get paid for a partial season.

The NFL and the NCAA I don't foresee any major issues until the first player comes down with Covid.

If Matt Stafford stays healthy, he will finish as a top 8 fantasy QB.

NBA is starting without a doubt.
MLB is a different issue imo and it could affect years to come.

NFL and NCAA will be fine, still sorting out some issues though.

Well i did say it was a BOLD prediction.

But i dont think its that far from reality.
Consider just 1 scenario:
All is well in the NFL... camp is winding down and the season is on the cusp of starting.
Then a player tests positive for corona. And a second on the same team.
I believe the protocol is to quarantine everyone who had contact for 2 weeks. For an NFL team, that would be all its players and coaches.
Does the NFL say, well, the other 31 teams will play, but this team will have to forfeit its first 2 games?

I can't remember who I said this about or where, but I have a bold prediction somewhere around here...

Baker Mayfield will outscore... I think it was Kyler Murray. And I still stand behind it.

Making the worst trade ever seem a little better, David Johnson outscores Deandre Hopkins for the season in both standard and PPR.

well I fully expect an NFL season, far too much money on the line, not just owners and players. Sponsors, associated businesses, there will be pro football.
NCAA football however, I could totally see being cancelled, forcing college students to risk thier health without "getting paid" for it, that's bad PR.

My bold predictions-
QB
Trannyhill is a top 12 QB
Drew Lock will be the next QB to join Mahommes/Watson/Lamar as this generations "young guns"
David Carr will be benched for Marriota at some point
Stidham/Hoyer set records for futility as NE positions itself for Lawrence.

RB-
D. Henry finishes as the #2 RB
D. Guice gets hurt (not bold), Gibson, not Peterson shoulders most the load (kinda bold)
DJ returns fringe RB1 production
K. Vaughn is the top rookie RB in ppr leagues/Taylor in Std.
L. Bell begins his descent towards obscurity
WR-
Godwin is top 5 WR ppr, maybe even #1
OBJ returns to the land of the elite
AJ Brown enters the land of the elite
Julio Jones begins his descent to mortality
Best fantasy rookie WR is not Juedy, Ruggs or
Lamb, but Jefferson, followed closely by Pittman and Mims--then the bigger names.

TE-
Blake Jarwin is a top ten TE
Kittle dethrones Kelce
Ertz regains #3 status
Waller slides but is still a fringe TE1
Noah Fant is a top six TE.
