Getting a jump start on this, rather than starting it in November when I'm sad about the state of the team.

Maybe it will spark them in to starting the season in October with the rest of the league.

As long as we dont wind up with the 2nd pick in the draft im good with any of the top 10.

Since it looks like the Flyers will be drafting in the 2nd half of the 1st round and hopefully towards the very bottom, I see them going RHD in the 1st round. I don't believe they have any sure-fire RHD prospects in the system with Myers up, and both Niskanen and Braun are short-term solutions.

Don't be surprised to see the Flyers go RHD, Center (with some size), speed/speed./speed

Those all appear to be the big long term needs. That is if Nolan Patrick is done. If he can play, some of this changes.

In 62 games for the Barrie Colts, Foerster compiled 36 goals and 80 points in 62 games. The initial read on him seems to be that he has impressive offensive talents and a high-end shot, but has some flaws in his skating that are going to have to be sorted out if he’s going to make an impact at the NHL level. I don't know if the Flyers could have done better at their drafting position. Overall, probably a solid pick.

The kid looks a lot like OV or Stamkos on the power play. He hangs out in the same area of the ice and his one-timers are laserbeams that often find the back of the net.

We don't even have a player on the big club who ever shot the puck this well, so it's exciting to see him drafted. He has size, hockey IQ, work ethic and won't be a defensive liability either. This is the big, sniping winger we've been looking for. I can't wait to see him with the Flyers.
