If the difference between Young and the next DE is much bigger than the difference between Thomas and Wirfs, and the next OT, then you draft Young.

Or trade down and draft two OT’s.

Assuming Young actually is “a generational talent,” then the redskins should expect to get quite a few picks for him.


Maybe Cleveland will offer up a second and NJoku (sp?) again. The redskins should have ran with that offer?, or the Pats first rounder offer.

Nah. You still have to factor in what we'd get in return. If we'd get a potential Pro Bowl LT plus a good starting TE plus a potential starting quality DB for him, are you really going to ignore that in making a decision?
