Both appear to be studs that are legit top 5 picks according to the experts - so one's gonna knock the other lower in the draft. Something to think about for a possible trade down... when we earn that Chase Young pick.

Btw, Anderson looked great yesterday, and we gotta assume Sweat's gonna provide the speed rush - even though he didn't yesterday.

Although fast, Sweat is not a speed rusher with a lot of bend. He is much closer to a Kerrigan style rusher.

Someone mentioned pass coverage by Kerrigan in another thread which is fair. He isn't good at it. Either is Sweat, Anderson or any other OLB. Their role is to rush the passer. If you get in passing downs you move them to DE and use more DBs.

But there are times you want to have your OLBers cover - otherwise you get awfully predictable in your defenses. And you want to have the ability to zone blitz.

True, all I am pointing out this is how the Redskins have designed their defense for years and not just for one HC. Truth be told I don't think the OLBs (really DEs) are attacked a lot. If you want guys to cover than you have to draft a different type of player or you do it by scheme.

those young guys we want to see want to win . They could win out , they could lose out , or we split . Regardless of what we do we won’t “ blow “ anything . We will get a good player where we pick
