What a snoozer of a game.

Pretty impressive that nearly the entire cast of Schitt's Creek were in 3 different commercials before the first quarter even ended.

It thought the show was good. Cool set, good choreography, strong visuals. I am just not up enough on pop culture to have caught all the references that got people all spun up. Serena Williams showed up and I had no clue why that was important.

I mean, I still don't care, but I just didn't know.

She showed up because she fucked Drake. That’s also why the other singer was there.

Beyond that the problem with Kendrick is he’s a popular rapper but he doesn’t really have a long “hit” list. Only a couple songs went mainstream, you really had to know his stuff to know anything about what was going on. Unlike a couple years ago when Dre, Eminem, 50 and Kendrick went out and did like one song each.

Anyway, if anyone’s mad about a Super Bowl halftime show go take a dump instead lol

i was looking forward to the halftime show as my time to annoy shine ... a payback for all the dumb football related questions from people who I never want to watch a game with. We had friends and family over for this. We never do Superbowl parties but my wife was all ... "we have all this new space after the reno so we have to entertain" ( ) ...

so i was getting the dumb football questions:

"do they have to get 10 yards every time?"
"whats that black guys name? ... and what about the half white guy? ... no not that one ... that one"
"is it the coach that stops the clock? Does he have a clicker?"
"why did that guy put up his hand?"

So I came prepared for the half time show. I HAD QUESTIONS! I went downstairs when all the kids (daughter and son had friends over) ran down there to watch halftime. I sat next to my daughter and her 2 friends. went pretty much like this.

Me:
"Do I know any Kendrick Lamar songs? Oh yah the one from Black Panther. Do I know any more? Would I know them if I heard them."
*QUIT IT DAD*
oh yah Ive heard that one. nah i dont know this one ... oh I think i heard this one being played in your brothers dressing room at hockey on the big speaker. nope i dont know this one
*STOP DAD*

When is he gonna play the 'not like us' song? " He's not gonna play it is he? He's being sued by Drake for that isnt he? I cant imagine the NFL wants him to sing those lyrics. Does he actually say the word p e d o phile in the song?

Daughters friend: "hey thats that tennis player Venus Williams"
Me: that not her why would she be there ... Is Ivan Lendl coming out next? (that one landed flat) Let me know when he sings it ok

I say this was the fuckin worst question I encountered and it came from my mother in law at the end of the game ... "why did that guy put up his hands?" ... I was running in and out of the house dealing with the bbq and my son couldnt help answer her because he couldnt figure out who she meant by "putting up his hands" (and his friends were already heads buried in their devices) ... it was the last play of the game and she was sayin 'did he put up his hands to end the game' ?

we were like what the actual fuck is she yammering about.

my son rewinds it and we figured out she was talking about the Eagles centre on the last snap who went into blocking stance with both hands up to block a d rush ... a d rush that wasnt going to happen as it was victory formation ... my mother in law somehow thought that "signal" was to end the game


/my fave super bowl moment was convincing my wife the guy who looked like Chantals brother from 90 day fiance was named Thatcher Mahomey
