I had to turn it off when we were being lectured on not rooting against a team and how we should be happy to be witnessing greatness.

I'm rooting for the Eagles in the Super Bowl because they were Johnny Gaudreau's team.
I don't really care but I will too. Close enough to Philly that I know a few Eagles fans and for the most part they dont annoy me.

Plus I like seeing the street poles in Philly Crisco'd

Oh we know, Comeds. The Philly ABC affiliate literally invented the term "grease humping" because of you.

As your attorney I would suggest just staying home with one of Tampa Bay's finest and avoiding those indecency charges this go around.

I won't watch but I hope the Eagles win, if only just for PSU man Saquon.

BTW, what did the Giants do to him anyway to suck for so long?

i was the eagles to win for Saquon (who Jerry pretty much thought was not good enough to be a Cowboy RB) and for Kellan Moore so Jerry can see him lift the Lombardi..

but we all know the Chiefs are going to win......

but man there is something about the bills and being 0-4 in big things.....

That's not true, it was the NBC affiliate. Also BTW, "GreaseHumping" is my favorite Chumbawamba song.

As for indecent, if the law says that a grown man wearing just his underpants (kinda) trying climb a greased up streetlight with one hand holding a beer in the other is indecent.....well me and the law will just have to agree to disagree. In fact I am going to petition the court to dismiss the charges under those grounds - because we agree to disagree.

That's crazy because most of these games were close and you can almost see the closing talent gap year-by-year. When they were losing Super Bowls, they were getting blown out (aside from the Norwood miss) and really had no chance in those games. The NFC's dominance over the AFC in that era was massive. But this is 4 games separated by only 26 points. You would think one of those years it would have gone Buffalo's way.

I feel for the Buffalo fans. Particularly stinging since Chiefs fans were in the exact same situation for the longest time as well as a perennial dog.

I hope somewhere Bossman gets to see all the possibilities of the universe and spends his days watching the 23-time Super Bowl champion Buffalo Bills from his cloud where he enjoys reruns of Bills' greats like Earl Campbell, Joe Montana, Marshall Faulk, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes.

Jerry jones response on why he hired Schottenheimer

"-I wanted to be a coach but wanted bigger cars than coaches had and flying on a plane.
"- Watching Brian Schottenheimer biting his lip when he didn't agree with things MM did.
"-What brought the players in.
"-Osmosis
"-the apple doesnt fall far from the tree
"-If you don't think I can operate out of my comfort zone you're so wrong,
"- This is as big a risk as you could take, no head coaching experience
"- When he called his mother… One of the things he said to his Mama was 'Mama, I'm gonna get a chance to get what Daddy didn't get: a Super Bowl, if it kills me. And the first one will be for him.
"- This is the best way that we can go to the playoffs and win.

I can't remember a playoff loss that felt so good like yesterday. It would have been awesome to make the Super Bowl, but we defied expectations again and again and this team NEVER had a moment where they weren't given 100% effort. This fall/winter has been a greased street pole of excitement for any Washington sports' fan...
  • Dan Snyder is fucking gone and we are seeing the rewards of that very quickly. I know this part is old news, but I can' stress how much I didn't think it would happen and how key that is to EVERYTHING good that has happened since.
  • The new ownership group is killing it and has been better for the fans, the organization, and the football product.
  • Dan Quinn has been fantastic and has this team FULLY prepared every Sunday.
  • The drafting of Jayden Daniels and his development is the most exciting thing since the 1991 Super Bowl. Maybe the best rookie QB season of the last half century. Having a true star at that position is something we have not had for forever ("you like that!").
  • Making the playoffs and winning two games on the road!
  • The Caps are the #1 team in the NHL right now with burgeoning youthful talent.
  • Ovechkin is on the precipice of becoming the NHL's all-time leading goal scorer.
All of it has been incredibly fun and so much joy regardless of the outcome this year in the playoffs. What a great last year and looking forward to what is to come for both teams!!

When your press conference announcing the new coach includes the words "not to make it about me"... you've made it about you.

Add Jerry Jones is still alive and owns the Cowboys to my list above. ;)

Don't worry @mattola , it's like the saying goes.

You don't have to outrun the bear, you just have to outlive Jerry Jones.

Unless of course the apple goes there first I think.
