He was rfa (out of contract) and they werent re-signing him anyways ... i dont think they even needed to waive himWas he any good or a backup?
I'm usually a little skeptical that an NFL team is actually doing the right thing unless they're making an example of a guy who is barely NFL caliber.
In other words...making an example out of a borderline NFL guy.He was rfa (out of contract) and they werent re-signing him anyways ... i dont think they even needed to waive him
Judging from the horrific crime scene photos of his 145 pound girlfriend ... i dont think hell be an nfl guy anymoreIn other words...making an example out of a borderline NFL guy.![]()
Detroit got the better of that deal but I would have told them the picks are enough. You can keep Goff.
This is assuming Houston’s current front office isn’t as dumb as the last one. That’s still TBD.At least we now know that it will take ALL THE PICKS for a team to land Watson.
Sheesh, if Detroit can get a low-level starter and two firsts and a third for a guy who is beyond middle aged (by QB standards), what does Watson get? I know his return could be slightly muted by his NMC giving him essentially full control over his destination, but still, you have to assume you're looking at four firsts plus some others.
Got out of that horrid Goff contract and got a marginally better QB out of it... So long as the Rams get to the playoffs for the next 2 years then dealing away those picks won't seem nearly as bad as it does now.Again.
Well played Rams. Well played
Can't hardly argue with that point. This is assuming Houston’s current front office isn’t as dumb as the last one. That’s still TBD.
